Frame: NBFX Polymer with Shape Memory
At the core of the frame lies the patented NBFX (Non Breaking Flex Polymer) – a high-performance polymer developed in Austria, featuring exceptional elasticity and stability. It is completely shatterproof and dimensionally stable: even under severe deformation, the frame returns to its original shape. The material is also airbag-safe, meaning frame and lenses remain intact even when an airbag is deployed, producing no dangerous splinters or break edges – for maximum safety in vehicle interiors.
Compared to conventional polycarbonate or nylon frames, NBFX offers significantly enhanced durability and reliability under stress.
With a specific gravity of just 1.11 g/cm³, it is among the lightest frame materials in the tactical optics sector. This low weight minimizes fatigue during extended operations and ensures a pressure-free fit – even in combination with helmets, hearing protection, or ballistic headgear.

The INCLINOX temples of the G34 Guardian Leaf can be fully adjusted without tools – cold-bendable, reversible, and precise. Inclination, curvature, and contact pressure can be tailored exactly to the wearer's head shape, mission profile, or gear configuration. Adjustment takes seconds and remains stable over time.

The G34 Guardian Leaf features NBFX STRATOS lenses – manufactured from the patented NBFX material in its STRATOS variant, optimized for optical applications. These lenses are distinguished by their extreme impact resistance, high optical performance, and precise light filtering. The material remains dimensionally stable under ballistic stress and does not shatter, which is critical for user safety in hostile environments.
The anthracite tint corresponds to filter category F3 according to DIN EN ISO 12312-1, providing reliable protection under intense sunlight, reflective surfaces, and high ambient brightness. Ideal for operations in urban environments, on water, or at high altitudes. The tint reduces glare and supports visual focus in high-contrast conditions.
Integrated into the lenses is the proprietary TRINITY Lens Technology, a multi-stage optical system combining three core performance aspects: high light transmission with UV blocking, contrast-enhancing spectral filtering via edge filters, and maximum image sharpness through minimized chromatic dispersion. The latter is achieved primarily through the high Abbe value of 45 – far above the values of polycarbonate (Abbe 31) or standard high-index plastics (typically 32). The result: minimal color fringing at object edges and a clear visual image across the entire field of view.
The lenses offer full protection against UVA and UVB radiation in the 280 to 400 nanometer range. This supports the eye’s natural defenses without distorting visual perception. Even under direct impact – such as from flying debris or ballistic fragments – the lens remains shatterproof and operational, making it a reliable component in safety-critical environments.
Certification: EN166 & STANAG 2920
The G34 Guardian Leaf meets the stringent safety requirements of two leading test standards: the European EN166 for personal eye protection and the military NATO standard STANAG 2920.
EN166 defines mandatory criteria for professional-grade protective eyewear. These include requirements for optical clarity (Class 1), mechanical impact resistance, UV protection, material integrity, and resistance to aging and chemicals. In practice, this means the NBFX lenses and frames of the G34 Guardian Leaf are optically distortion-free, impact-stable, and built for long-term deployment in demanding environments.
STANAG 2920 is a NATO standard for evaluating ballistic protection against fragmentation and projectiles. The V50 test determines the velocity at which 50% of projectiles penetrate the test object. The G34 Guardian Leaf has been tested to a certified value of 296 m/s – well above the ~215 m/s minimum required for ballistic protective equipment. This ensures reliable shielding of the eye and orbital region against explosion-related fragmentation or dynamic field hazards.
The combination of both certifications qualifies the G34 Guardian Leaf not only as certified personal protective equipment for civilian use, but also as a tactically deployable, ballistically tested optical system.

Gloryfy manufactures entirely in Austria, at its in-house facility in the Tyrolean Zillertal. Development, testing, and production are all carried out under one roof – ensuring short communication paths, full quality control, and true material transparency.
