Frame: NBFX polymer with shape‑retention
The frame is made of patented NBFX (Non Breaking Flex Polymer), a high‑performance polymer from Austria with exceptional elasticity and stability. It is completely unbreakable, dimensionally stable, and airbag‑safe – even under strong deformation, the frame returns to its original shape without splintering or forming sharp edges.
With a specific weight of only 1.11 g/cm³, this material ranks among the lightest in tactical optics. The low mass reduces fatigue during extended wear and guarantees pressure‑free comfort – even in combination with helmets, headsets, or ballistic headgear.

With an outstanding Abbe value of 45, chromatic aberration is significantly reduced – a critical advantage during outdoor missions with rapid eye movement and variable illumination.
The lenses are completely impact‑resistant and provide 100 % protection against UVA and UVB radiation (280–400 nm). Even under mechanical stress, they remain fully functional – ideal for extreme operational environments.

The G15 GUARDIAN desert TRF meets the stringent requirements of the EN166 standard for professional eye protection and the military specification STANAG 2920. In the V50 test, it achieves a fragment resistance value of 296 m/s – well above the minimum threshold for ballistic eyewear.
This makes the model not only approved for civilian protection but also engineered as a tactical optics system that reliably shields against mechanical threats even under extreme conditions.
