The Tactical Foodpack Sweet Potato Curry combines high energy density with aromatic curry spices, creamy coconut notes and a pleasant level of heat – designed for trekking tours, bushcraft camps and mobile adventures far away from established infrastructure.
Hearty Outdoor Meal with 701 kcal
The recipe, specially developed for vegetarians and vegans, combines sweet potatoes, chickpeas and rice with curry, chili, ginger and cumin into a complete outdoor meal delivering 701 kcal per serving. Coconut milk, tomatoes and lime create a balanced combination of spice, mild heat and fresh acidity that makes all the difference after long marches or cold nights in camp.
For weight-optimized tours or shorter adventures, the Sweet Potato Curry is also available in a more compact 115 g version. For larger food supplies, group catering or use in basecamps, a 3 kg Big Bag version is additionally available and designed to feed multiple people.
Freeze-Dried Meal with Minimal Pack Size
The freeze-drying process preserves flavor and nutrients while significantly reducing weight – ideal for multi-day tours and weight-conscious equipment setups.
With a shelf life of up to 8 years without additional preservatives, the meal is suitable for both long-term outdoor adventures and emergency preparedness. Total weight is 182 g with compact dimensions of 18 x 6 x 24 cm. Recommended storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C.
Preparation
For preparation, add 420 ml of water directly into the pouch. Open the package, remove the oxygen absorber, add water, stir thoroughly, close the zip seal and let the meal sit for 8 minutes. Afterwards, the meal can be consumed directly from the pouch without additional cookware.
If no cooking option is available, cold water can also be used. The durable packaging supports uncomplicated use even under demanding outdoor and field conditions.
