The Tactical Foodpack Sweet Potato Curry delivers an energy-rich outdoor meal with aromatic curry spices, creamy coconut notes and a pleasant level of heat – designed for trekking tours, bushcraft camps and self-sufficient adventures far away from established infrastructure.
Hearty Outdoor Meal with 504 kcal
The recipe, specially developed for vegetarians and vegans, combines sweet potatoes, chickpeas and rice with curry, chili, ginger and cumin, delivering 504 kcal per serving. Coconut milk, tomatoes and lime create a balanced mix of spice, mild heat and fresh acidity that makes all the difference after long marches or cold nights in camp.
For longer tours or particularly energy-demanding adventures, the Sweet Potato Curry is also available in a larger 160 g version – ideal when caloric requirements in the field are significantly higher. For group supply, basecamps or extensive emergency preparedness, a 3 kg Big Bag version is additionally available and designed to feed multiple people.
Full Meal with Minimal Weight
The meal is freeze-dried, preserving flavor and nutrients while significantly reducing weight – ideal for multi-day tours with limited pack weight.
With a shelf life of up to 8 years without additional preservatives, the Sweet Potato Curry is suitable for both long outdoor adventures and emergency preparedness. Total weight is 137 g with compact dimensions of 18 x 6 x 24 cm. Recommended storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C.
Preparation
For preparation, add 300 ml of water into the pouch. Open the package, remove the oxygen absorber, add water, stir, close the zip seal and let the meal sit for 8 minutes. Afterwards, the meal can be consumed directly from the pouch without additional cookware.
Cold water can also be used when no cooking option is available. The durable packaging also supports uncomplicated use under demanding field conditions.
