Bulk Food Supply for Basecamp and Emergency Preparedness
The BigBag Beef Pasta Bolognese combines pasta, tomatoes and minced beef into a freeze-dried bulk meal designed for group catering under outdoor, operational and emergency conditions. The recipe is based on classic pasta bolognese and is suitable for basecamp stays, long-term food storage or self-sufficient supply concepts for multiple people.
Designed to provide meals for up to 30 people, the BigBag version is suitable for group catering in outdoor, operational and crisis environments. The combination of pasta, tomatoes and beef delivers a balanced and energy-rich meal, even during extended operational or high-exertion phases.
In addition to the BigBag version for group catering, the Beef Pasta Bolognese is also available as a small and large single serving for individual tours and mobile operational scenarios.
Freeze-Dried Group Catering with High Capacity
The meal is fully cooked before being freeze-dried. This process significantly reduces transport weight while maintaining flavor, texture and long shelf life.
Natural ingredients are used without preservatives, artificial flavorings or flavor enhancers. The durable BigBag packaging is suitable for extensive food storage, stationary supply concepts or prolonged stays at basecamp.
Large Packaging with Long Shelf Life
With a net weight of 3100 g, the BigBag version offers a significantly higher supply capacity than standard individual portions. The dimensions of 45 x 20 x 35 cm allow compact storage inside vehicles, supply depots or emergency equipment.
Recommended storage temperature ranges from 10 °C to 30 °C. Shelf life is up to 10 years from the production date.
Preparation
To prepare, open the BigBag packaging along the marked line and remove both oxygen absorbers. Then add approximately 9 liters of hot water at a temperature between 70 °C and 100 °C directly into the bag and stir thoroughly.
Close the packaging and allow the meal to rehydrate for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Stir again afterwards. If required, additional water can be added or the soaking time extended until the desired consistency is reached.
