Description
Hearty Stew for Trail, Camp and Field
After hours in rough terrain and cold wind around camp, a straightforward meal with rich flavor becomes essential. The TF Burgundy Stew combines tender beef with potatoes, carrots and mushrooms in a red wine base. Thyme, rosemary and juniper berries provide a balanced seasoning with a classic stew character.
With 500 kcal per serving, the meal is suitable for trekking tours, bushcraft activities or as part of compact field rations.
Freeze-Dried Outdoor Meal with Rich Recipe
The meal is fully cooked before being freeze-dried. This process significantly reduces moisture while ensuring long shelf life, low weight and a compact pack size.
With a net weight of 110 g and a gross weight of 132 g, the meal remains lightweight and easy to store. The dimensions of 18 x 6 x 24 cm allow uncomplicated storage in backpacks, vehicles or emergency equipment. Recommended storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C. Shelf life is up to 8 years from the production date.
Preparation
Before preparation, remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch. Then add 380 ml of water directly into the pouch and stir thoroughly. After sealing the pouch, the recommended waiting time is approximately 15 minutes.
Once prepared, the stew can be consumed directly from the pouch. The durable packaging supports uncomplicated use in outdoor, field and operational environments while reducing the need for additional cookware.
