Tactical Shorts for Everyday Wear and Field Use
The Urban Tactical Shorts 8.5" were developed for users who do not want to compromise on a functional equipment setup, even in warm weather. The combination of an ergonomic cut, durable fabric construction and a well-designed pocket layout allows essential gear to be carried close to the body without restricting freedom of movement.
PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop for High Durability
Constructed from PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop, these shorts combine durability with wearing comfort and the flexibility required for dynamic movement. The blend of cotton and polyester provides a robust yet comfortable fabric, while the elastane content further enhances freedom of movement.
The Ripstop weave increases the fabric's resistance to wear and helps prevent small tears from spreading further. With a fabric weight of 220 g/m², the shorts offer a balanced combination of durability and comfort, making them well suited for warm weather conditions.
Functional Pocket Layout for EDC and Tactical Equipment
A total of 10 functional pockets provides ample storage options for organizing EDC items, magazines and additional equipment. Two zippered thigh pockets are complemented by additional slip compartments, allowing frequently used gear to remain quickly accessible.
Reinforced pocket edges minimize wear when carrying knives or multitools with pocket clips. The body-hugging pocket arrangement keeps equipment securely in place and ensures reliable retention even during intensive movement.
Ergonomic Design with Practical Features
The ergonomically designed low-profile cut follows natural body movements and ensures lasting comfort during extended periods of wear. Even when all pockets are fully loaded, the streamlined silhouette remains discreet, making the shorts equally suitable for urban environments and field use.
A hook-and-loop adjustable waistband with a hook closure and elastic insert allows the fit to be individually adjusted. Wide belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm in width, while additional gear loops on the front belt loops provide extra attachment points for smaller pieces of equipment.
Note: The Urban Tactical Shorts are also available in a 11" version with a longer leg length.
