The OTS Shorts 8.5″ from Helikon-Tex are made for warm-weather operations and summer adventures – whether you're hiking in the mountains, navigating woodland trails, or out on tactical missions. Made from soft, airy, and quick-drying VersaStretch Lite fabric, these shorts deliver unrestricted mobility and superior comfort, even in intense summer heat.
VersaStretch Lite – 4-Way Stretch Material for Hot-Weather Operations
Constructed from a blend of 93% nylon and 7% elastane with a fabric weight of only 120 g/m², the shorts feature a true four-way stretch that allows movement in all directions – essential for demanding outdoor terrain. The fabric is additionally treated with a Teflon coating by Chemours, offering reliable protection against light rain, wind, dirt, and abrasion.
Functionality and Storage for Outdoor & Tactical Use
These shorts feature a classic cargo design and come equipped with ten practical pockets – including two with robust YKK zippers and two with hook-and-loop closures. Reinforced belt loops at the front offer attachment points for carabiners or D-rings. All pockets are lined with mesh to prevent dirt and sand from accumulating – ideal for dusty trails, beaches, or forested terrain.
