The Urban Tactical Shorts Flex 8.5" combine a discreet appearance with the functionality of modern tactical apparel. The low-profile cut, thoughtfully designed features, and a practical pocket layout allow essential equipment to be carried in an organized manner without compromising freedom of movement or wearing comfort.
Durable NyCo Ripstop Fabric
The NyCo Ripstop fabric is made from 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This material blend combines excellent abrasion and tear resistance with good breathability and comfortable wear during extended periods of use.
The ripstop weave enhances the fabric's durability and helps prevent minor damage from spreading further. In addition, VersaStretch panels improve mobility during dynamic movements while supporting temperature regulation.
Ergonomic Construction for Maximum Mobility
The construction follows the body's natural range of motion, ensuring a secure fit even during prolonged wear. Profiled leg sections and a raised rear waistband help prevent the shorts from shifting while improving overall comfort during movement.
The pocket arrangement keeps equipment close to the body, maintaining a streamlined profile even when fully loaded. This preserves the tactical functionality of the shorts without compromising their discreet appearance.
Practical Pocket Layout for EDC and Equipment
A total of 10 functional pockets provide organized storage for EDC, magazines, and additional equipment. Two thigh pockets with YKK zippers feature integrated internal sleeves, offering ample space for magazines or larger pieces of gear.
Reinforced pocket edges reduce wear caused by knife, flashlight, or multitool clips. The layout is complemented by traditional rear pockets and slim auxiliary compartments for smaller items that need to remain readily accessible.
Purpose-Built Features Down to the Details
The adjustable waistband with a hook-and-loop adjustment system allows precise fitting to the wearer. The elastic waistband follows the body's movements and improves overall comfort while reducing the need for readjustment during use.
Wide belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm in width, making them suitable for tactical duty belts as well as EDC or Cobra belts. Additional gear loops integrated into the front belt loops provide extra attachment points without occupying valuable pocket space.
