5.11 Tactical Rush 24 2.0 Kangaroo
The Rush24 backpack in an office-ready feature update
The update to 5.11 Tactical's Rush series is finally here and it brings us a huge increase in versatility. The tactical components have been retained, but been extended by a few features that make this classic a reliable buddy for office use or family missions as well. The Rush24 2.0 in kangaroo works just as well on a short tactical mission in the desert as on the bike to the next meeting in the city: The new padded laptop compartment fits your electronic equipment as well as the extensive M.O.L.L.E. system can accommodate tactical accessories. With 37 liters of capacity, the backpack is ideal for day trips, shorter missions or private trips where extra clothes, a laptop and the kids' lunch should be stowed without getting in each other's way.
Packing space for 1-2 days
Most of the volume is distributed among the main compartment, which measures.
50 x 32 x 20 cm. Located on the inside of the main compartment is the new laptop compartment for a notebook up to a size of 15" and the compartment for a water bladder; its outlet is led out to the back. If you want to stow your charging cables in the main compartment along with your computer, gear accessories and jacket, you can do so in the two mesh pockets on the inside of the front flap.
Additional space is available in the two pockets on the front, where EDC items and the usuals are quickly at hand. In the larger, lower front compartment, a few slip pockets and a zipper are designed to bring order to the chaos. The lower front compartment is the key to the Rush24's next new feature: hidden behind it is a hidden pocket with hook-and-loop closure, designed for storing sensitive gear or documents.
Centre Line Design thanks to all-round M.O.L.L.E. system
The look of the backpack is largely defined by 5.11's signature Centre Line design, which is created by the convergence of the M.O.L.L.E. stripes on the front of the backpack. The M.O.L.L.E. system has been used to its full potential here, running across the entire front as well as the sides and bottom panel. The possibilities for attaching small tac pouches and accessories are therefore maximized and the typical tactical element can be played with freely. By the way, the backpack can still be combined with the 5.11 Tier System.
Whether it is used for trekking trips or tactical use, the waterproof and special durability of the CORDURA 1050 den make it a true all-purpose backpack that will stand the test of time in all weather conditions. Due to its ergonomically shaped and padded back panel and the padded straps the comfort is guaranteed. If more stability is desired, the thin chest strap can be closed to stabilize the two shoulder straps.
The Rush24 2.0 is a real upgrade and especially in terms of versatility an improvement on the popular previous model. In the classic medium size as versatile as uncomplicated and therefore a real alternative, whether in tactical or business use.
