The medium daypack for even more Rush
Making a top seller even better is a challenge. 5.11 Tactical has accepted the challenge and put his favorites of the Rush series through its paces. The result was the Rush24 2.0, here in Ranger Green. Without sacrificing space and tactical elements, room was made for even smarter packing and an upgrade that is important in our days: a laptop up to 15" can now be inserted in the padded notebook compartment without getting in the way of the rest of the luggage. Ideal for 1-2 days on the road or for missions with moderate luggage, the Rush24 2.0 version is a great alternative for even the less adventurous trips to the office.
The Rush24 2.0 is, as the name suggests, a medium-sized backpack designed for 24-hour deployments or appropriate hiking trips with little luggage. However, with its ergonomically padded back panel and padded shoulder straps, it is quite capable of full loads. Up to 37 liters can be packed and the established carrying system can easily balance the weight on the shoulders and back. For stabilization of the shoulder straps when trekking or hiking, the thin chest strap can be closed.37 Liters for those 2 day missions
The luggage is distributed between the large main compartment and two front patch pockets. The main compartment with the dimensions 50 x 32 x 20 cm is large enough for the necessary equipment and spare clothes. The laptop is inserted into a padded slide-in compartment on the back of the main compartment and there is also a compartment for a hydration bladder. It's on the back of the pack and comes out the back via a tube opening. On the inside of the front flap are two mesh pockets for stowing small items like charging cables, and the two pockets on the front of the pack provide more than enough space for quick-access smalls and EDC items.
The lower of the two front pockets is the larger of the two in which small items can be sorted in slide-in pockets and a zippered compartment. Behind this front pocket, the new version of the Rush rucksack now also hasanother hidden compartment with a hook-and-loop closure. The compartment is completely hidden and therefore suitable for sensitive documents or equipment to be packed discreetly.M.O.L.L.E. for days
Even more equipment like additional pockets and mag pouches can be attached to the extensive and mandatory M.O.L.L.E. system. 5.11 Tactical has not skimped on the lush webbing here and attached the M.O.L.L.E. strips almost all the way around: They populate the entire front, as well as the sides and the bottom panel. The M.O.L.L.E. system gives the Rush24 its special look: The stripes converge symmetrically in the middle, forming the center line design typical of 5.11 Tactical - a design with recognition value!
Typical for 5.11 backpacks and the Rush in particular is the CORDURA 1050 den. It is known to be super tough and yet waterproof, which prepares the daypack for missions even in the pouring rain. With office appeal and a tactical zest for action, the Rush24 2.0 is a versatile outdoor backpack that's a good mid-size for the vast majority of missions.
