5.11's signature center-line design makes up the look of the new Rush72, which is tactically focused and shows it: With a wrap-around M.O.L.L.E. system, the attachment optionsare nearly endless. Both, the main and front compartments, as well as the side pockets, are equipped with M.O.L.L.E. strips, making them ready all around for holding small tac pouches or accessory pouches.
The main compartment measures 59.0 x 34.3 x 21.5 cm. It houses 3 zippered pockets, a padded pocket for goggles or electronics that need to be protected separately, and a pocket for a 3-liter hydration system. In addition, there is plenty of space for camping gear or clothing. Most importantly, the new notebook pocket also sits in the main compartment. A padded compartment on the back, it can hold a laptop up to 15" while protecting the computer from bumps or hard objects in the main compartment. Zippered pockets line both sides of the main compartment.Versatile front pocket with extra packing options
The front patch pocket holds quite a bit of storage: EDC parts or small items can be attached and stored in various mesh pockets, on elastic loops or in a zippered pocket on the inside of the flap. The front compartment itself can be folded forward thanks to the gussets on the sides, freeing up more space for packing, say, a rain jacket or clothes that can be slipped in quickly. When the space between the front pocket and the backpack is not in use, the compression straps on the sides can be pulled together for a more compact shape.
Hidden behind this slide-in compartment lies another new feature of the Rush72 2.0: The hidden compartment with hook-and-loop closure only becomes visible and accessible when the front compartment is folded forward.carrying system in 5.11 Tactical quality
For a multi-day backpack that can be fully loaded with 55l, the carrying system is essential: 5.11 relies here on an ergonomically reinforced back section with stabilizing aluminum web, which guarantees a supportive shape. Padded carrying straps and a likewise padded hip belt transfer the weight of the backpack to the shoulders and hips and ensure a healthy distribution of the load. The CORDURA 1050 den of the Rush72 2.0 is stable and waterproof. Whether trekking in the snow or on missions in the city, the backpack convinces with its versatility and the special resilience of a tactical backpack.
