Designed to achieve peak performance in rugged terrain, they are a practical evolution of an already proven classic.
Material Mix for Full Range of Motion
The widespread success of UF Pro tactical pants lies in their hybrid design, specially developed to meet the challenges of demanding operations. This design marries the durability of traditional ripstop uniform fabric with the flexibility of field-tested stretch fabric from quality manufacturer Schoeller.
Durable NyCo Ripstop Material
The base material of the pants is UF Pro's proven NyCo Ripstop, known for its high tear resistance and longevity. The combination of 50% nylon and 50% cotton not only provides protection against damage but also ensures breathability and comfortable wear.Flexible Schoeller-Dynamic Fabric
For highly active areas, the elastic Schoeller-Dynamic stretch fabric is used. Comprising 92% polyamide and 8% elastane, it offers stretchability not achieved with conventional uniform fabrics. Despite its flexibility, this modern fabric remains durable and abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for tactical clothing areas that traditional field pants restrict. To increase durability further, areas such as knees, leg endings, and belt loops are reinforced with Cordura 500D. This material is renowned for its exceptional abrasion resistance, protecting the pants in the most critical zones.Optimized Fit and Flexibility
The innovative Waist/Flex system with belt flanks ensures unparalleled freedom of movement around the hips. This setup allows for optimal adjustment and keeps the pants securely in place during dynamic movements. The removable Waist/Flex belt, an advancement of the proven UF Pro belt system, can also serve as an inner belt, providing secure placement for a shooting belt with hook surface on the inside. The curved belt ensures an optimal fit and easy adjustability, even under load, without restricting movement and reducing potential pressure points under backpack hip belts.
Focus on Knee Area
Special attention is given to protection and adaptability in the knee area. Integrated lightweight knee pads, reinforced with Cordura, offer abrasion resistance and reduce noise when combined with separately available hard protectors, which can also be complemented by UF Pro's Tactical 3D Knee Pads. A 4-level knee height adjuster in the thigh pocket allows for personalized adjustment of the knee pad position. The width adjustment is easily managed by a detachable strap system with hook-and-loop closure, further securing the knee pads.
Thoughtful Pocket System for Practical Storage
A key feature of the pants is their extensive storage capacity. Mandatory slip pockets with mesh pocket bags enhance the pants' ventilation. Behind each is a slot for a knife or flashlight, quickly accessible and not competing with other pocket contents. The large cargo pockets on the thighs offer significant space and feature a wide elastic band to keep contents in place. The opening is secured with buttonholes and additionally narrowed with an elastic cord, providing a reliable alternative to zippers. For easy access to the pocket contents while seated, a zipper on the front side serves as a secondary entry. On these spacious pockets sits a flat pocket suitable for a knife, magazine, or phone, which remains unobtrusive when not in use. The two back pockets with hook-and-loop closure offer additional storage for small items. Lastly, inconspicuous zipper pockets on the calf securely accommodate light items. This careful arrangement of pockets ensures that all essential items are quickly accessible and securely stored.
Additional Product Features
To move through underbrush with ease, the pant legs are adjustable in width with an elastic band and button. The shoe hook further secures the pants to the boot, preventing them from riding up and ensuring optimal fit and basic tick protection. A vertical zipper along the calf allows for quick changes to wider leg endings and provides better ventilation. Ventilation zippers on the front thigh offer additional cooling in hot weather while keeping insects out with mosquito nets. The waistband features the zipper for the UF PRO Windstopper Lining, enhancing the pants for cold and windy conditions.
