Midsole
The Energy Surge midsole of the Sense Ride 5 SR is made from a combination of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and olefin to ensure properties such as improved energy return and increased durability. Quicklace Lacing System
Salomon's Quicklace system is a minimalist yet robust lacing system that has been specially developed for quick and easy donning. It uses thin but very durable Kevlar cords that can be tightened with a simple pull and have a slider that secures the tension and distributes it evenly over the foot.
Lace Pocket
Excess cords can be stored in a specially designed pocket at the top of the tongue after tightening to maintain a clean appearance and prevent them from loosening or getting caught during movement.
