Material
The UF PRO Striker TT Pant is specially designed for use in tropical and humid climates, where high breathability of clothing plays a crucial role. The hybrid design of the Striker TT Pant combines different materials to meet these exact requirements. Particularly in the seat and knee areas, the Schoeller-Dynamic stretch material ensures maximum freedom of movement and optimal moisture management. This high-tech fabric is not only highly elastic but also quick-drying, making it ideal for operations where rapid transitions between wet and dry conditions are common. Additionally, the polyamid fabric is very fast drying, robust against branches and vegetation – whether in dense jungle, swampy terrain, or rough forest paths. The Striker TT Pant withstands these challenges and protects the legs from scratches, abrasions, and cuts. Thanks to its special material selection, the Striker TT Pant is the lightest combat pant from UF PRO.
Design
Fit
The removable Waist/Flex system with a negatively curved belt ensures a perfect fit by dynamically adapting to the user’s constantly changing physique. The integrated belt optimally secures the pants' position, preventing any annoying shifting during intense physical activities.
Insect protection
Tropical deployment areas not only bring extreme weather conditions but also a variety of dangers from insects and dense vegetation. Therefore, the Striker TT Pant features integrated gaiters at the inner end of the pant legs, which reliably protect against mosquitoes, ticks, and other unwanted insects. The lightweight and soft material gently wraps around the ankle, preventing insects from climbing up the body. The gaiter is connected to the pants via a thin mosquito net insert for extra protection.
Ergonomic knee protection
The knee area of the Striker TT Pant is designed for maximum protection and durability. The three-layer knee protection is made from tough Cordura, which withstands the wear and tear of rough environments. Additionally, UF PRO knee pads can be inserted through designated pockets to provide extra protection without restricting movement. The straps in the back of the knee allow for individual adjustment of knee width, ensuring the pads stay securely in place.
Functional pocket solutions
The pants come equipped with a total of four pockets. The front pockets allow for quick, two-sided access to essential gear. However, the primary focus of the Striker TT Pant is the spacious side cargo pockets, which are equipped with clever features. The top flap is secured with Canadian buttons and an additional bungee cord, while a vertical zipper provides fast access when needed. The pockets feature loops for securely attaching magazines and other important gear. A special drainage system ensures that any water entering the pockets is quickly expelled, while an integrated ventilation system with small zippers and mesh fabric ensures constant air circulation.
