The UF PRO Delta ML Gen.3 Tactical Winter Jacket was developed for professionals who must remain fully operational in harsh winter conditions. Whether during extended surveillance, vehicle missions, or multi-day field operations, this jacket provides reliable warmth, unrestricted movement, and seamless integration into modular clothing systems. Designed for use in temperatures ranging from 0 °C to –10 °C, it serves as a dependable cold-weather solution for military, police, and tactical applications.
Fabric & Weather Resistance
The outer shell is made from 100% polyamide with a polyurethane membrane, combining exceptional durability and abrasion resistance with windproof, water-repellent, and naturally elastic properties. This construction effectively protects against snow, wind, and light rain while ensuring unrestricted mobility in demanding environments. The low-noise surface texture makes it ideal for covert operations and tactical movement in the field.
Although not a full rain jacket, the Delta ML Gen.3 easily withstands light rain or snow. For prolonged wet conditions, it functions perfectly as a mid-layer beneath the Monsoon XT shell.Insulation & Climate Regulation
An 80 g/m² G-LOFT filling provides high-performance thermal insulation—a synthetic hollow fibre that retains warmth even when wet and remains exceptionally lightweight. The inner lining of 100% polyester with 37.5-fibre technology actively manages moisture by wicking sweat away and stabilizing the internal microclimate. This system achieves the perfect balance of thermal efficiency and breathability, ensuring lasting comfort during physically demanding or prolonged missions.
Design, Fit & Mobility
The anatomical cut of the Delta ML Gen.3 is designed for professional equipment compatibility. Its close-fitting structure reduces bulk and allows for easy wear beneath ballistic or outer protective gear. Integrated Flex/Zone stretch panels in the back ensure maximum mobility while maintaining consistent warmth. Removable wrist warmers with chronometer openings provide fast access to watches or devices without compromising insulation—a functional advantage for precision work in low temperatures.
Hood System & Modularity
The redesigned Hood/Harness system follows every head movement and ensures a clear line of sight, even in wind or snowfall. Its reinforced brim protects against precipitation, while the microfleece interior adds wind resistance and comfort. Both the hood and wrist warmers are detachable and can be compactly stored in the large internal pocket—ideal for modular layering setups or wear beneath a hardshell jacket.
Pocket Layout & Features
With seven total pockets, the Delta ML Gen.3 provides an efficient and functional storage system for mission essentials. Two large front pockets with ventilation options are complemented by a spacious rear pocket and multiple inner compartments for documents, gear, or communication devices. All zippers are quiet, concealed, and glove-operable—optimized for stealth and tactical performance during field operations.
Operational Range
The jacket is engineered for variable cold-weather conditions between 0 °C and –10 °C. In combination with the Monsoon XT Gen.2 hardshell, it offers complete protection from wind, snow, and sustained precipitation.
Delta ML Gen.3 vs. Gen.2
Compared to the Gen.2, the Delta ML Gen.3 has been extensively refined to deliver greater adaptability, comfort, and tactical functionality in winter conditions.
The most striking upgrade is the fully detachable Hood/Harness system—a functional hood that zips off to simplify layering under a hardshell. While the previous version included no hood, the Gen.3 now provides full modular flexibility.
Also new are the detachable wrist warmers, which were fixed in the Gen.2. They can now be removed and conveniently stored, together with the hood, in the newly added integrated inner pocket—the Smart Storage Pocket not present in the earlier version.
The pocket layout has been completely re-engineered: the front pockets now feature two-way access and improved ventilation, complemented by a spacious lower-back pocket. This enhances airflow, improves accessibility, and increases overall carrying capacity.
