Description
Water-repellent winter jacket
With the Delta OL 4.0 Tactical Winter Jacket, missions in snow and ice become the business, because the cold protection jacket is perfectly equipped for all weather conditions between minus temperatures, snow and ice or thaw. Especially when stays in icy cold are not necessarily connected with physical exertion, the Delta OL is the first choice, because it concentrates on exactly that: protection from icy cold and snow.
Outer material
The 4th generation Delta OL 4.0 Tactical Winter Jacket is made from an extremely water-repellent and 100% windproof, two-layer ripstop laminate. The material ideally keeps out icy wind and also defies snow and rain moisture. In addition, the material is pleasantly soft to the touch and also exceptionally quiet.
Insulation
The torso and sleeves are insulated with high-performance G-Loft in various weights. The hollow polyester fibres of G-Loft have the function of absorbing heat released by the body and storing it inside. In this way, the body heat is redirected and becomes a heat accumulator. Moreover, because G-Loft does not absorb moisture, the body remains dry and the warmth stable. The result of the G-Loft construction is not only ideal heat management, but also a light weight and the good compressibility of the jacket, which can be pulled out of the rucksack and immediately returns to its ready-to-use form.
Heat management with vents
If it gets too warm in the jacket but you don't want to open it all the way, simply open the integrated, smooth-running Vislon YKK zips in the armpits to release excess heat. The zips can be opened with one hand.
Reinforcements at stress points
To counteract the usual wear and tear of classic stress points, the Delta OL 4.0 Tactical Jacket is reinforced with Cordura at the elbows and back. So even with a plate carrier or rucksack, a durable and above all comfortable structure is ensured here.
Hood
The seam-sealed hood, which can be easily adjusted in width via bungee cord, is equipped with the UF Pro Hood/Harness System. This means that the hood follows the movements of the head and also sits securely on the head even in howling winds. Thanks to this system, the view always remains clear and the hood is not in the way.
Detachable powder skirt
To add an extra layer and ensure that cold or snow cannot reach the body, a removable powder skirt is incorporated to seal the inside of the jacket separately. Wrist warmers keep the pulse warm, but allow a clear view of a watch, for example.
Pockets
A kangaroo pocket and two large inner mesh pockets provide storage space for keys, torch and phone and keep hands warm with or without gloves.
