The balanced meal delivers 517 kcal per serving and is suitable for trekking tours, bushcraft, basecamp stays or emergency preparedness. The recipe is based on natural ingredients and contains no preservatives, artificial flavours or flavour enhancers. For longer tours and increased calorie demands, the meal is also available as a larger BIG portion.
Freeze-Dried Field Meal with Compact Pack Size
The Mushroom Risotto is fully prepared before being 100% freeze-dried. This process significantly reduces weight while helping to preserve flavour, texture and nutritional values as effectively as possible.
With a net weight of 100 g and a gross weight of 122 g, the meal remains compact and easy to transport. The dimensions of 18 x 6 x 24 cm allow space-saving storage in backpacks, vehicles or emergency equipment. Recommended storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C. Shelf life is up to 8 years from the production date.
Preparation
To prepare, pour 320 ml of water directly into the pouch. After opening, first remove the oxygen absorber. Then add water, stir thoroughly, close the zip seal and let the meal stand for approximately 8 minutes.
After the waiting time, the meal can be eaten directly from the pouch. The durable packaging simplifies use under field conditions while minimising cleaning effort.
