The YETI Tundra 45 in Tan comes equipped with all the features of the legendary Tundra series. From the excellent insulating ability to the extreme resilient construction, the mid-sized YETI cooler exceeds all expectations previously associated with mobile coolers.Built like a tank
For a long time, people were used to coolers that lasted at best for one summer and then had to be disposed of. Multi-part designs and large manufacturing tolerances ensured that the coolers fell far short of expectations even when new. This is not the case with YETI products. The housings and lids of the Tundra series are formed as hollow bodies by rotational molding and then foamed with polyurethane. This results in mechanically extremely resistant and yet lightweight components with exceptional heat retention capacity. In conjunction with the lushly dimensioned seals, such as those used in commercial freezers, ensuring that the contents of the Tundra 45 maintains its temperature for a long time.Attention to detail
The lid and chest are connected by an interlocked hinge pin made of rust resistant aluminum. If necessary, the two parts can be connected with two padlocks, thanks to the sturdy eyelets. This protects the precious contents from pickpockets, snackers and even full-grown bears(!). Under normal circumstances, the two thick T-Rex buckles secure the lid and put plenty of pressure on the Coldlock seal. The freezer can be carried either by the Lipgrip handles embedded in the side or if carried in pairs using the reinforced textile loops with plastic handles. Practical rubber feet ensure a secure stand and effectively prevent the YETI Tundra 45 from slipping on smooth surfaces. For securing the cooler during transport on pickups, trailers and boats, the housing has tie-down points for straps.
