The Levanter Jacket is a featherlight, waterproof outdoor jacket designed for mobile use and sudden changes in weather. It offers reliable protection against drizzle and wind — perfect as a compact weather shield for variable conditions, whether during urban missions, outdoor trips, or patrols.
Weather-resistant nylon construction with DWR finish and PU membrane
The base is a durable 100% nylon fabric with a weight of approx. 105 g/m². Nylon stands out with high tear and abrasion resistance, fast drying, and tough characteristics — ideal for unpredictable weather or rough terrain.
The exterior features a DWR coating (Durable Water Repellent, C0 formula without PFAS), which allows water to bead off before penetrating the material. This keeps the jacket dry even in rain, without soaking the fabric.
A thin PU membrane (polyurethane) laminated on the inside forms a waterproof barrier, raising the jacket’s water resistance to 10,000 mm — offering reliable protection in light to moderate rain. Despite this barrier, the jacket remains breathable and is suitable for movement and activity without trapping body moisture.Ultra-light, compact & ready for action anytime
Compared to traditional hardshells, the Levanter impresses with its extremely low weight and compact design. Weighing only around 268 g, it packs down small and can be quickly thrown on when needed — ideal as a “just-in-case” shell for unpredictable weather or spontaneous operations. A no-fuss solution that fits in any pack and is ready at a moment’s notice.
Practical features for everyday and field use
The jacket features a short 3/4-length zipper (half-zip) that allows for fast on/off and extra ventilation — ideal during activity or changing temperatures. A generous kangaroo pocket with dual-side zip access provides space for maps, gloves, keys, or EDC gear. The adjustable hood conforms to head size and offers reliable protection against rain and wind — even during storms or strong gusts.
