This state-of-the-art rain jacket incorporates the latest materials and joins the layering options of Helikon-Tex. It shields against the harshest snowstorms and wildest rain showers with sealed seams, a hood with a high collar, and YKK AquaGuard zippers.
The Hardshell Squall was designed to provide versatility and adaptability. It effortlessly accommodates additional insulation in winter and functions independently as a lightweight rain jacket in spring, offering both comfort and protection.
Revolutionary TorrentStretch Membrane for Waterproof Performance
The Squall Hardshell Jacket introduces an innovative material technology with the brand-new TorrentStretch membrane. This advanced three-layer laminate features a microporous membrane between the outer protective layer and the integrated lining. Designed for reliable water resistance and effective moisture management, this innovative membrane shines with an impressive hydrostatic head rating of 30,000 mm, ensuring the ultimate protection against wet conditions.
Environmentally Friendly DWR Coating
The jacket is equipped with an eco-friendly Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating that is free from harmful perfluorocarbons (PFCs). Avoiding PFCs due to their environmental and health concerns, the environmentally friendly DWR coating not only provides sustainable moisture protection but also assures a reassuring material for the wearer.
Waterproof Construction and Hood Design
The jacket features sealed seams for complete waterproofing. No stitch holes provide an impenetrable barrier against water intrusion. Waterproof YKK AquaGuard zippers are expertly integrated, featuring a dual main zipper for ventilation adjustment. A Prym snap button secures the lower section.
The Squall Jacket's hood is particularly versatile, adjustable in two directions and featuring a high collar. This allows for individual customization, protecting the head and neck optimally from wind and rain.Outstanding Breathability
In addition to its waterproof and windproof properties, the Squall Jacket impresses with outstanding breathability. With an impressive RET (Resistance to Evaporative Heat Transfer) coefficient of less than 5, it efficiently transports moisture from your body to the outer surface, ensuring an extremely comfortable wearing experience, even during intense activities.
Ventilation openings, adjustable cuffs, and adjustments in the hood and lower hem provide additional opportunities to customize the jacket to meet varying conditions while maintaining freedom of movement.
Pocket Configuration
The Squall Jacket has a total of three pockets, including an internal pocket that is excellent for storing documents or a mobile phone, allowing quick access to essential items.
The left shoulder of the jacket is equipped with a hook-and-loop panel, allowing for personalization with patches or badges to express your style or affiliation.
