The Arc'teryx Patrol Pant AR was developed to meet the demands of military and law enforcement personnel, combining a durable construction with outstanding freedom of movement. Paired with the Arc'teryx Patrol Jacket AR, it forms a coordinated clothing system for everyday duty and demanding operational environments under changing conditions.
Durable softshell fabric with functional weather protection
The Patrol Pant AR is built around a Four-Way Stretch Double Weave with DWR finish, combining elasticity and durability in a robust softshell fabric. The construction is designed for continuous use while maintaining a high level of comfort in changing weather conditions.
The DWR finish enhances the water-repellent properties of the outer fabric and helps reduce moisture absorption. With a weight of 645 g, the Patrol Pant AR offers a balanced combination of durability, comfort and functional performance.
Optimized for dynamic movement
A reinforced crotch gusset increases freedom of movement while reducing stress on one of the garment's highest-wear areas. This makes the pants well suited to dynamic operational profiles involving frequent kneeling, climbing and rapid changes of position.
The drawcord-adjustable leg openings feature an integrated stow channel and can be precisely adjusted over a variety of duty boots. The close-fitting hem helps minimize snagging on equipment or vegetation while ensuring a secure fit.
Thoughtfully designed features for professional duty
The pocket layout has been designed around the needs of professional users, providing quick access to frequently used equipment. In addition to hand pockets with an integrated folding knife compartment, the pants feature rear pockets and cargo pockets with flap closures for organized storage of additional gear.
Integrated gear loops at the waistband allow essential equipment to be securely attached to the pants. The reinforced belt loops are designed for use with the LEAF Rigging System and reliably support the additional loads associated with mission-specific equipment.

An integrated UPF 50+ sun protection rating also helps protect covered areas of the body during prolonged outdoor use, although its effectiveness may be reduced when the fabric is stretched, wet or worn.
