The Arc'teryx Patrol Pant AR was designed for professional use by military and law enforcement personnel. As part of a coordinated clothing system, it pairs perfectly with the Arc'teryx Patrol Jacket AR and meets the requirements of modern duty and operational apparel.
Durable stretch fabric for changing conditions
Constructed from Four-Way Stretch Double Weave with a DWR finish, the Patrol Pant AR combines exceptional freedom of movement with a durable softshell construction. The fabric is designed for continuous use in changing weather conditions while maintaining a high level of wearing comfort throughout long duty days.
The DWR finish enhances the water-repellent properties of the outer fabric and helps reduce moisture absorption. With a weight of 645 g, the pants provide a balanced combination of durability, comfort and functional performance.
Freedom of movement without compromise
A reinforced crotch gusset provides an extended range of motion while reducing stress on one of the garment's highest-wear areas. This makes the pants well suited for dynamic activities involving frequent kneeling, climbing or rapid changes of direction.
The drawcord-adjustable leg openings feature an integrated stow channel, allowing the pant legs to be precisely adjusted over duty boots. The close-fitting hem reduces the risk of snagging on vegetation or equipment while ensuring a secure fit.
Thoughtfully designed storage for mission-essential equipment
The functional pocket layout provides quick and organized access to frequently used equipment. Hand pockets with an integrated folding knife compartment, rear pockets and cargo pockets with flap closures offer ample storage space for equipment and personal items.
Integrated gear loops at the waistband expand the available options for securing essential equipment. The design is complemented by reinforced belt loops, engineered for use with the LEAF Rigging System and capable of reliably supporting additional loads.

Beyond professional use, it is equally well suited to tactical training, bushcraft, trekking, emergency preparedness and other outdoor activities requiring a high level of mobility and durability.
The combination of elastic softshell fabric, functional features and durable attachment points supports the secure carry of frequently used equipment without restricting freedom of movement. The integrated UPF 50+ sun protection helps protect covered areas of the body during prolonged outdoor exposure, although its effectiveness may decrease when the fabric is stretched, wet or worn.
