With its striking Rescue Red color, the new Roadie 24 2.0 cooler is guaranteed to turn heads. Thanks to improved insulation and a reduced weight of just 5.8 kilograms, its functionality has been further enhanced—making it more practical and versatile than ever.
Smart Design
One of the biggest differences compared to its predecessor is the redesigned carrying strap. Instead of a fixed handle, the Roadie 24 now features a wide, durable Doubleduty strap made from tough fabric, complete with a comfortable, detachable plastic grip. Metal eyelets have also been added at the attachment points, allowing you to secure a 25 mm strap - ideal for fixing the cooler in a car or camper, or for adding accessories. For those traveling in pairs, the convenient side handles are a great help - especially when the cooler is fully loaded. Its sturdy build and comfortable height even make it suitable as a seat. The updated shape also allows larger bottles - whether soda, water, or wine - to be transported standing upright. Its slim silhouette makes it easy to store behind a driver’s seat or in the trunk of larger vehicles. The Bearfoot feet on the bottom keep the cooler firmly in place without sliding around.
Well-Engineered Construction
Just like the larger models in the YETI Tundra series, the body of the Roadie 24 is manufactured using a rotomolding process. This results in a particularly rugged hollow shell made from high-impact polyethylene. The entire interior is then filled with Permafrost insulation made from polyurethane foam - a method that not only greatly improves thermal performance but also significantly increases the structural strength of the cooler. The result is a nearly indestructible build that insulates exceptionally well - in both directions. The cooler is free of BPA and PFAS, ensuring that cold drinks and food stay fresh while hot meals retain their warmth for longer.
Cooling Performance
Even in the height of summer, the Roadie cooler provides reliable cooling in a compact format. The high-performance insulation helps retain cold for hours. The specially designed Interlock lid reliably blocks out heat, while the Coldlock gasket - similar to what you'd find in freezers - seals in cold air. This ensures the contents remain chilled and fresh, even as temperatures rise outside.
Easy to Use
The Roadie 24 comes equipped with practical, rubberized YETI Quicklatch closures. These can be easily opened and closed with one hand, while still providing a secure seal. The so-called Neverfail hinges live up to their name - extremely durable and built to last. For controlled drainage of melted ice, the new BestDam drain plug is located at the bottom. Cleaning is just as simple. Warm water and a splash of soap are all you need.
