The YETI Roadie 8 combines the proven insulation performance of the Roadie series with a highly compact design. With external dimensions of 45.2 × 25.4 × 27.2 cm, it can be stored almost anywhere while taking up very little space—from the footwell to the cargo area.
Whether for work, short trips, or outdoor activities, the Roadie 8 provides ample room for food and drinks. Holding up to 12 beverage cans or 4 kg of ice, it is ideal for a day's provisions while remaining compact and easy to carry.
Consistent Cooling Performance for Hours
Inside, the Permafrost Insulation, made from pressure-injected polyurethane, helps maintain the desired temperature for extended periods. Drinks and food stay reliably chilled, while hot meals retain their warmth for longer.
The insulation is complemented by the InterLock Lid System, which reduces heat transfer from the outside. The freezer-grade ColdLock Gasket seals the interior securely and keeps cold air exactly where it belongs.
Built for Demanding Conditions
The construction is designed for regular use and easily withstands the demands of everyday life. Durable hinges provide long-lasting lid support, while the carry handle remains secure and comfortable to hold, even when the cooler is fully loaded.
Integrated tie-down slots allow the cooler to be securely fastened during transport. At the same time, non-slip feet improve stability on smooth surfaces and help prevent unwanted movement.
Practical Handling
The generously sized QuickLatch closure can be opened and closed with just one hand. Unlike the larger Roadie models, the Roadie 8 features a single latch, providing particularly quick access to the contents.
With an empty weight of 3.4 kg, the cooler remains easy to carry and highly versatile. Its sturdy construction also allows it to be used as a seat, although it should not be used as a step or standing platform.
Easy Care and Maintenance
For maximum cooling performance, it is recommended to pre-chill the cooler, place ice at the bottom before loading, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The Roadie 8 is also compatible with dry ice, making it suitable for extended trips.
Cleaning is simple with warm water and soap. For heavier soiling, a mixture of six parts water to one part bleach, together with a sponge or lightly abrasive cleaning cloth, is recommended.
Note: The Roadie 8 cooler is not leakproof when placed on its side or upside down.
