Release the beast: Huge pack size and unsurpassed functionality

With the Mil-Ops 80 + 24, Tasmanian Tiger has shaken up the ranks of established combat backpacks and tactical mission packs in a huge way in November 2021: with its targeted design, the backpack was already the tender winner of a NATO force 2 years ago and with its focus on the specialized needs of task forces such as the mountain hunters or the paratroopers, the undisputed main figure in TT`s segment of high-performance mission backpacks. Undoubtedly the largest and most detailed backpack with a capacity of 80 liters, the giant is now finally available in black.

In its basic version, the backpack is designed for a load of up to 50kg. The weight is distributed between the large main compartment with 80 liters pack size and the two side pockets, each of which can hold 12 liters of volume. This considerable total volume of 104 liters is handled by the proven robust Cordura 700 den so that the operational capability of the new giant in tactical equipment almost no limits.

104 liters of volume ideally packed

The toploader divides its massive volume into three main compartments: The spacious main compartment, the separately accessible bottom compartment - ideal for dry and separate storage of a sleeping bag - and the height-adjustable lid compartment. The optional two side pockets, each with a volume capacity of 12 liters, can be added to the basic main compartment at any time.

The secured zippered front opening allows easy access to gear and ensures safe storage. Compression straps on the sides and bottom of the pack not only allow the pack to be compressed at any time when its full volume is not to be utilized, but they are also ideal for adding additional gear such as a sleeping bag or snow poles.

Inside, there's an adjustable slip-in pocket for a hydration bladder, as well as a holder for FM devices. Both can be accessed quickly and easily via the snow skirt. An adjustable flap on the front provides space for helmets and other bulky items; it attaches with snap buckles and can be quickly replaced or removed. With the M.O.L.L.E. system, there are no limits to the expansion of the tactical mission backpack; additional pockets or tools can be attached here as usual.

V2-Plus TRAGESYSTEM for heavy loads and long missions

The linchpin of such a compact load is the back system of the backpack, which in the variation from 50kg to 80kg must guarantee an ideal load transfer and optimum comfort even when wearing protective vests and weather protective clothing.

TT has relied on its proven V2-Plus carrying system for heavy loads in the Mil-Ops 80 + 24, which convinces with an optimal distribution of the load. Due to the individual adjustment of the padding, which is made possible by adjusting the carrying system to the length of the back, the backpack offers an excellent fit. The back is additionally reinforced by two stabilizing aluminum bars and a thin chest strap prevents the shoulder straps from slipping.

The shoulder straps can be adjusted quickly and easily using a slot-and-lock system, allowing for maximum customization even when worn over a plate carrier.

Proper adjustment and length adjustment of the shoulder straps automatically transfers the weight of the pack to the hips, where the hip belt absorbs the load. This hip belt can be easily adjusted by pulling on the straps, and excess strap length can be stowed by elastic loops on either side. Straps can be attached in three different positions for additional load stabilization.

With an impressive volume of 104 liters and a clever layout, the Mil-Ops 80 + 24  is the tactical best in class. In black, however, it now also shines in missions beyond tactical response teams and military units, be it from bushcrafters to task forces in the security sector: this is mission giant that can no longer be missed on any mission.
