Gigantic pack size in the new battleship for specialized forces

When Tasmanian Tiger promises a monumental new product, even the strongest nerves go weak. Even the best ones in our team had a hard time waiting for the release date. But finally, it`s here: We present to you the Mil-Ops 80 + 24 by Tasmanian Tiger. Without a doubt the largest, most well thought out and impressive combat backpack so far. A piece of gear that will make an impression not only as a tender winner of a NATO force. Absolutely specialized for the needs of task forces such as the mountain hunters or the paratroopers, the combat backpack is a real tactical highlight at the end of the year.

The monster among the TT backpacks is designed for a load up to 50 kg, which can be distributed among the 80 liters of volume of the main compartment and the two side pouches of 12 kg each. What can experience-based design and specifications tailored to specific needs achieve? Everything, when packed in the typical TT Cordura 700 den. The TT team had multi-week missions in mind, even tougher conditions, even heavier packs, even more challenging demands when they planned their new flagship. Now, launched, we can finally introduce you to the giant.

No success without a base: Meet the match winner, the V2 carrying system

With loads up to 50kg, the carrying system is the definitive top or flop of any operation. TT has relied on its proven V2 carrying system for the Mil-Ops 80 + 24, which impresses with optimal load distribution. Because the carrying system can be adjusted to the length of the back and, thus, an individual adjustment of the padding can take place, a good fit is a given. Two stabilizing aluminum rods strengthen the back in the vertical. A thin chest strap secures the shoulder straps from slipping.

The shoulder straps are adjusted with a simple slot-lock system that can be quickly changed. Even if the backpack is worn with a plate carrier, the adjustment can be customized to the maximum.

If the shoulder straps sit correctly and at the right length, then the weight is automatically transferred to the hips, where the hip belt takes on the load. The belt can be adjusted when worn by simply pulling on the straps; the excess strap length is then easily stowed with elastic loops on either side. For even more control of the load, straps can be cinched in three different positions to further stabilize the weight.

Maximum load, optimum packing, ideal use of volume

The toploader is divided into 3 main compartments: The main backpack with 80 liters of volume capacity and the two optional side pockets, each holding 12 liters. The main backpack, in turn, consists of three important sections: The main compartment, a separately accessible bottom compartment that is ideal for storing a sleeping bag, and the height-adjustable lid compartment. A secured zippered front opening that runs all the way around keeps the backpack's contents as secure as they are always easily accessible.

For those who need even more packing space, the two zippered side pockets, each with 12 liters of extra volume, provide a flexible extension for even more gear.

If the total volume of the backpack is not fully utilized, it can be lashed together by means of the side compression straps. Compression straps also run along the bottom of the combat backpack, which can be used to attach other equipment such as a sleeping bag.

Inside, the Mil OPS backpack doesn't compromise either and features an adjustable insertion pocket for a hydration bladder, which can be accessed via tube openings on the right or left side. There is a dedicated holder for FM devices, as well, which can be quickly accessed via a zippered opening, even when the lid is closed.

For carrying a helmet, there is an adjustable flap on the front. This holder is attached with buckles and can be easily removed when not in use. Additional loops for snow poles or tools add more freedom and, of course, the M.O.L.L.E. System is attached throughout for customizing the tactical combat backpack.

Impressive 104 liters total volume - divisible in the smartest way imaginable - a carrying system that gets around the world in 80 days and the proven material quality of Tasmanian Tiger: Bring it on 2022.

Show more Show less
