  With the TT Base Pack 60 FO, Tasmanian Tiger expands its Base Pack series by adding a high-capacity option for medium to long missions. At the heart of the design is the distinctive fully opening front panel (FO = Front Opening)—a key feature that provides fast and complete access to the pack’s contents, especially practical for use inside vehicles.
  
  Compared to the proven TT Raid Pack, long considered the benchmark in the 45–50-liter class, the Base Pack 60 FO offers not only increased volume but significantly greater modularity and more dynamic access functionality. In the Multicam version, the pack is constructed from Cordura 500 den—optimized for weight and camouflage while maintaining durability.

  Front Opening: Instant Access Without Compromise

  The signature full-front-opening function sets the Base Pack 60 FO apart from traditional top-loading backpacks. The entire front of the pack can be unfolded like a clamshell—ideal for situations where all contents must be visible and accessible at once, such as in vehicles, for medical reorganization, or under time pressure.

  Additional structure is provided by the main and bottom compartment separation, allowing organized packing of gear such as clothing, sleeping kits, or equipment. The wraparound bottom compression keeps the pack compact, even when partially loaded.

  Expandable Volume for Demanding Loads

  The base capacity of 60 liters can be expanded to 75 liters via the integrated roll-top snow guard. Two closure positions provide flexibility during loading and ensure the main compartment is well-sealed—even in bad weather or shifting mission demands.

  Load Control and Comfort with the Carrying System

  The V2 Plus carrying system features a height-adjustable back length for different user sizes and is designed to handle heavy loads up to 40 kg. The padded hip belt with ergonomic pull-forward adjustment is fully removable and can be used separately as a Warrior Belt—ideal for modular load configurations or users switching to lighter setups temporarily.

  Full MOLLE Compatibility

  Whether on the front, sides, or lid, the TT Base Pack 60 FO is equipped with laser-cut MOLLE panels throughout. These allow for seamless integration of additional pouches, IFAKs, or mission-specific modules. The height-adjustable lid can be removed as needed, allowing the roll-top closure to function as the main closure—ideal for a reduced and streamlined access setup.

  Mission-Oriented Features

  Beyond its modularity, the backpack includes practical tactical features such as hydration system compatibility, antenna ports, pole/ice axe loops, side compression straps, and a sturdy front handle—perfect for quick maneuvering in urban or tight environments. Side pouches are not included by default but can be added for a customized, scalable loadout.
