  New Heating Element for the Heater Bag

  The Tactical Foodpack Heater Element is the matching replacement heating element for the reusable Heater Bag, allowing meals to be heated without a stove or open fire. As the Heater Bag is designed for at least 10 uses, only the heating element needs to be replaced after use.

  Heat Generated by a Chemical Reaction

  The heating element is intended for single use only and is activated by adding water. Approximately 150 ml of water is enough to trigger the chemical reaction, generating temperatures of up to 100 °C and providing heat for up to 25 minutes.

  Compact and Easy to Carry

  With a gross weight of 67 g and dimensions of 18 × 12 × 0.5 cm, the heating element fits easily into a backpack, gear bag or emergency kit. As a spare for the Heater Bag, it is always ready when needed without taking up unnecessary space.

  Simple Operation

  Remove the heating element from its protective packaging and place it at the bottom of the Heater Bag. Then insert the meal, fill the bag with approximately 150 ml of water up to the marked fill line and seal it securely.

  The colder the water, the longer it takes for the reaction to begin. Heat generation starts within a maximum of 3 minutes, heating the meal in approximately 15 to 20 minutes; stirring once after about 10 minutes is recommended for even heat distribution.

  Safe Handling

  Hot steam is generated during the reaction. The Heater Bag should only be used outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Any water that has come into contact with the heating element is not suitable for drinking or food preparation.

  After use, the heating element must be allowed to cool completely before being disposed of as hazardous waste. It must not be disposed of in fire or incineration facilities, as this may release hazardous gases or trigger unwanted chemical reactions.
