The M.U.S. Multi Utility Shorts V3.0 are back and, in their 3rd generation upgrade, not only just in time for those whose shorts season already starts when temperatures barely hit double digits. After two successful generations, LMS Gear has further refined the proven concept without losing sight of what made the M.U.S. stand out from the beginning: high functionality, intelligent pocket organization, and a low-profile appearance.
Designed in Switzerland and manufactured in Portugal, the M.U.S. V3.0 were built for warm days when long pants simply aren't an option. Whether at the shooting range, on the road, bushcrafting, traveling, or enjoying an after-work beer – these shorts are ready for it all without drawing unnecessary attention.
Materials and Construction
The M.U.S. Multi Utility Shorts V3.0 feature a premium 2-way stretch ripstop fabric made in Spain. The material consists of 97% cotton and 3% elastane, combining the comfort of natural fibers with the flexibility required for everyday wear, travel, and active use.
The ripstop weave increases the fabric's resistance to wear and tear, ensuring a long service life even under regular use. The shorts are entirely manufactured in Portugal and equipped with high-quality components such as a durable YKK zipper and a matching Slotted Button in Ranger Green.
Thoughtful Pocket Organization
As with previous generations, visible side-mounted cargo pockets have been deliberately omitted. Instead, the entire pocket layout is concentrated around the upper section of the shorts. This creates a clean, low-profile look while preventing the shorts from appearing bulky or overloaded.
A total of ten pockets are available. Six pockets in the front provide quick access to frequently used gear, while four rear pockets offer additional storage capacity. The rear pockets are integrated into the construction rather than being externally attached, further emphasizing the streamlined silhouette.
Freedom of Movement
The M.U.S. V3.0 features an integrated gusseted crotch that significantly improves mobility. Whether climbing, kneeling, working in the field, or getting in and out of vehicles, the construction supports natural movement without uncomfortable tension in the fabric.
The classic cut has been intentionally balanced. Not too loose, not too slim, with a hem that ends above the knee. The result is a modern fit that performs equally well in urban environments and out in the field.
