  The Static V is a real classic and ultimately the origin of Klymits' collection of sleeping pads with patented V-shaped air chamber system. The Static V achieves an optimal adaptation to the body shape of the user due to the smart V-chambers. Thus, the Klymit Body Mapping provides a superior sleeping sensation, while the side bolsters of the pad guarantee a secure hold and restful sleep for side, back and stomach sleepers.

  Ergonomic side chambers

  
  The special design of the lateral chambers minimizes air movement. This provides for stabilization during weight shifts during sleep, resulting in a central restful sleeping position.
  
  

  High profile of the air chambers

  
  In contrast to conventional air mats, whose profile is compressed flat under load, the profile of Klymit mats remains voluminous. The V-chamber profile increases the heat output and improves the insulation.
  
  

  Heat transfer resistance

  
  The so-called R-value indicates the ability of your pad to insulate you from the cold floor and to keep you comfortably warm. The higher the R-value of the pad, the higher the insulation. The Static V has a R-value of 1.3. and is therefore suitable for temperatures up to around +7° C. The Klymit Static V is the optimal choice for your spring, summer or autumn camp and will give you a relaxed and restful sleep even on cooler nights.

  Inhibits the growth of mold and bacteria inside the pad and prevents odors and material damage.
