Compact Quilted Blanket
The Mil-Tec Sturm Poncho Liner is a lightweight quilted blanket for camping, bushcraft and use on the move. Originally designed as a warm insulating layer for a poncho, this simple piece of equipment is remarkably versatile. At camp, it serves as a blanket; while travelling, it provides an additional layer of insulation; and in a vehicle, it can be kept close at hand for breaks or unexpected overnight stays.
Insulating Layer for Ponchos and Sleeping Areas
The liner can be attached to a suitable poncho using the sewn-on tie cords. This creates a sheltered sleeping cover for mild nights. The quilted blanket can also be placed over a sleeping bag or used as an extra layer in a bivouac. Measuring 210 x 150 cm, it offers plenty of coverage without adding unnecessary weight.
Lightweight Polyester Fabric
Both the outer material and padding are made from 100% polyester. The 100 g/m² filling is distributed evenly across the blanket by the wave-shaped quilting. The stitching also helps prevent the insulation from shifting significantly during transport or use.
Multiple Uses
In addition to being used as a poncho liner, the Mil-Tec Poncho Liner is suitable as a travel blanket, sleeping bag liner or an extra insulating layer on the floor of a tent. It can also be used as a lightweight privacy screen or to divide a sleeping area.
Quick to Pack Away
After use, the blanket can be rolled up and stored in the included stuff sack. Weighing approximately 800 g, it remains easy to carry and can be stored in a backpack, deployment bag or vehicle boot.
