Weatherproof Hardshell for Tactical Operations
The HELIKON-TEX Chinook Jacket is a rugged, waterproof outdoor and duty jacket specifically designed for demanding conditions. Developed for professional use as well as bushcraft and trekking, it delivers reliable protection within a temperature range of -5 to 10 degrees Celsius. Its functional design combines durability, weather resistance, and tactical features in a high-performance hardshell.
Maximum Protection with High Breathability
The 2.5-layer laminate with membrane provides effective protection against rain and wind with a 20,000 mm waterproof rating. At the same time, a breathability level of 20,000 g/m²/24h ensures efficient moisture management during physical activity. The PFC-free DWR coating, fully sealed seams, and a concealed YKK two-way front zipper with chin guard further enhance resistance against harsh weather conditions.
Comfort and Freedom of Movement
Thanks to its ergonomic cut, mobility remains unrestricted even when worn with additional gear. The regular fit allows for multiple clothing layers underneath. Adjustable sleeve cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem optimize overall fit and comfort. Hook-and-loop panels on the upper arms accommodate patches or IR identification markers. An integrated adjustable hood and underarm ventilation zippers complete the functional design.
Structured Storage
The jacket features two large front pockets as well as two upper arm pockets, providing ample space for operational equipment, documents, or personal gear. The pocket layout supports organized storage during duty or outdoor activities.
