The Ranger BGS 2.0 Einsatzstiefel combines the technical upgrade of the Ranger boot and provides comfort and safety for the highest functionality for police officers on duty. Designed to meet the demands of the field, this high shank boot offers highly technical features that make it a safe boot for a variety of operational situations.
Material
Upper material
The upper of the Ranger BGS 2.0 is made of waterproof leather that is also hydrophobic to repel water. This high-quality choice of material ensures that feet stay dry even in the most adverse conditions.
With a thickness of 2.0 - 2.2 mm, the leather is not only robust but also breathable. This property enables optimal air circulation in the shoe and ensures maximum wearing comfort, even during long use.
Thanks to the durability of the upper leather, pointed objects and sharp edges are no problem: The leather of the Ranger BGS 2.0 offers reliable protection against injuries caused by pointed objects or sharp edges, so that you can rely on the boot's durability even in the most demanding operational situations.
Lining and membrane
The Ranger BGS 2.0 is permanently waterproof and extremely breathable thanks to a three-layer GORE-TEX performance membrane. The membrane runs through the entire lining and keeps feet dry. The abrasion-resistant lining, which is itself refined with a fleece mid-layer, brings optimum comfort in all seasons, even with intensive use. The Gore-Tex Performance membrane is also responsible for increased chemical protection.
Sole
Insole
The anatomically shaped insole of the boot is characterised by its excellent moisture absorption and fast drying. This insole is not only particularly comfortable, but also replaceable and washable, ensuring easy care and hygiene.
Inner sole
In addition, the insole made of moisture-absorbing synthetic/fleece material ensures dimensional stability and prevents unpleasant punctual pressure, for example from stones or pointed objects. This well thought-out design maximises wearing comfort and ensures that the feet are always supported in the best possible way.
The HAIX Climate System in the Ranger BGS 2.0 also uses a pumping motion that allows air to circulate with every step. This innovative technology ensures that warm air escapes and fresh air enters through the ventilation holes on the top of the shoe. This creates a pleasant microclimate in the boot and prevents excessive moisture build-up. The special foam system of the boot's insole supports this continuous air circulation.
Outsole
The Vibram outsole of the robust combat boot convinces with excellent traction. The rubber compound sole gives the boot the necessary grip on any terrain and is specially designed for maximum slip resistance, stability and stiffness, even in rough terrain.
The rubber/PU sole has a proven road and off-road tread that is not only abrasion-resistant but also slip-resistant. Thanks to the sporty toe and heel rounding, the sole offers optimal step and flex behaviour, which increases freedom of movement and thus stability. In addition, it is non-chalking and meets the antistatic requirements according to EN ISO 20347:2012.
Cushioning system
Thanks to the integrated cushioning of the insole with Haix Absorption, steps are effectively cushioned, maintaining a comfortable feeling even after hours of wear. Absorption is achieved through a cushioning wedge incorporated into the sole, helping to reduce fatigue and maintain performance.
Fit
The fit of the Ranger BGS 2.0 is a crucial factor, providing pressure relief, cushioning, foot position correction and muscular balance. This means that not only is maximum comfort guaranteed, but posture is also improved and the strain on the muscles is reduced.
The Ranger BGS 2.0 can be individually adjusted because the width of the shoe can be flexibly varied with the help of three different insoles. The shoe is supplied with a red insole (medium) as standard. If further adjustment is desired, this can be supplemented separately with a yellow insole (wide) or a blue insole (narrow). This creates an almost tailor-made wearing experience.Reduced heat sensation
Special colour pigments in the upper leather reduce heat build-up from sunlight by up to 40%, so feet stay cool even on hot days.
Certified safety
The Ranger BGS 2.0 meets the CE EN ISO 20347:2012 O2 HRO HI CI WR FO SRC certification and thus also officially offers the highest safety and reliability as a work shoe.
