Description
Agile Tactical Boot
With the HAIX Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid, HAIX combines the athletic feel of a performance-oriented occupational shoe with the advantages of a mid-cut tactical boot. The construction remains flexible while still providing additional support around the heel. A completely metal-free design and comparatively lightweight feel further enhance mobility, especially during long working days and frequent changes of movement.
Construction and Materials
Suede Leather and Textile
HAIX uses a combination of suede leather and textile for the upper. The leather provides the required durability, while the textile sections maintain the boot's athletic flexibility. This makes the Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid suitable for regular professional use without making the construction unnecessarily stiff.
Mid-Cut Design
The shaft measures 13 cm and extends noticeably higher around the foot than a conventional low-cut shoe. Despite this, sufficient freedom of movement is retained for dynamic activities. At the rear, a TPU heel component provides additional stability and a secure fit.
A distinctive feature is the adaptive heel counter. With continued wear, it adapts to the individual shape of the heel bone. This allows the boot to be guided more precisely through the heel during foot strike. At the same time, the ergonomically shaped last gives the foot sufficient room for natural movement.
Climate and Weather Protection
GORE-TEX Most Breathable Footwear
For the lining, HAIX uses GORE-TEX Most Breathable Footwear. The material keeps water out while remaining breathable. It is combined with an abrasion-resistant lining fabric. This is particularly practical when frequently moving between indoor and outdoor environments, as the construction helps maintain a balanced climate inside the boot. Its high breathability is also designed to support comfort in warmer temperatures.
Cushioned Footbed
The footbed does more than simply provide a comfortable surface. It cushions the foot, wicks away moisture and supports controlled foot guidance. A separate heel cup provides additional cushioning in the rearfoot area. Integrated AIRFLOW channels with recycled PU foam also promote air circulation inside the boot.
HAIX Climate System
The HAIX Climate System works with the natural movement generated while walking. The resulting pumping action transports moisture towards the top of the shaft, where it is released to the outside through the Micro-Dry lining. No additional mechanism is required, as every step helps support moisture transport.
XLR8 Technologies
Under the XLR8 concept, HAIX combines several construction technologies designed to support performance, control and endurance. The focus is on targeted foot guidance and a responsive sole setup that absorbs forces while walking and supports natural movement.
Reforce
The Reforce technology works through the heel bone. A targeted rotational movement supports the alignment of the foot arch. Together with the adaptive heel counter, this creates a construction in which the heel and boot work closely together.
Cushioning and Energy Return
During foot strike, the sole construction absorbs part of the incoming energy. This energy is stored and released again during push-off. The result is a noticeably responsive rolling motion that complements the athletic character of the Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid.

Nonwoven Insole Board
Beneath the footbed is a moisture-absorbing nonwoven insole board. It complements the boot's moisture management and supports the moisture-wicking footbed positioned above it.
Rubber/PU Sole
The outsole features a robust rubber/PU construction. It is fuel-resistant, heat- and cold-insulating, and non-marking. The tread design and specialist rubber compound are engineered to provide high slip resistance across different surfaces.
A lightweight, elastic PU midsole provides cushioning. In the heel area, the PU extends further upward to improve stability. At the toe, the material is also raised to provide additional protection.
HAIX Anti Slip
With the HAIX Anti Slip system, the tread design and specialist rubber compound work together. The result is very good grip across a variety of surfaces – an advantage when ground conditions change frequently throughout the working day.
HAIX Absorption
A cushioning wedge integrated into the sole construction provides additional shock absorption. HAIX Absorption therefore complements the cushioning effect of both the midsole and footbed.
HAIX CO-System
The HAIX CO-System is designed to combine pressure relief, cushioning and support for foot positioning. The ergonomic concept also takes body alignment and muscular balance into account.
HAIX Arch Support System
In the midfoot area, the HAIX Arch Support System supports the natural arch of the foot. At the same time, the toes and ball of the foot retain sufficient space. This guides the midfoot without unnecessarily restricting the forefoot.
HAIX Smart Lacing
The HAIX Smart Lacing System allows the lacing to be adjusted quickly. The quick-release fastener makes adjustment easier, while the laces can then be stored in the designated lace pocket. This keeps the closed lacing system compact and prevents loose laces from hanging freely.
HAIX Vario Wide Fit System
The HAIX Vario Wide Fit System allows the internal width of the boot to be adjusted individually. Three differently designed insoles are available for this purpose. The red Medium insole is included with the boot. For a wider or narrower fit, a yellow Wide insole or blue Narrow insole can be purchased separately. This allows the HAIX Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid to be adapted more precisely to different foot shapes.
Please note: The HAIX Vario Wide Fit System is supplied with the red insole only. The two additional insoles must be purchased separately.
