Sporty Tactical Boot for Demanding Workdays
The HAIX Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid combines the agile feel of an athletic occupational shoe with the stability of a mid-cut tactical boot. At the same time, its completely metal-free construction and comparatively low weight provide a high degree of mobility and comfort, even during extended periods of wear.
Construction
Upper
The upper is made from a durable combination of suede leather and textile. This allows the HAIX Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid to combine robust material properties with the flexibility required from an athletic tactical boot. The material combination supports natural mobility and is designed to withstand the regular demands of professional use.
Design and Fit
With a shaft height of 13 cm, the Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid features a mid-cut design. The construction provides additional support around the foot and heel without unnecessarily restricting mobility. A TPU heel component improves stability and helps ensure a secure heel fit.
The adaptive heel counter is designed to gradually adapt to the individual shape of the heel bone. This creates a close connection between the foot and the boot, supporting controlled guidance during heel strike. At the same time, an ergonomically shaped last provides sufficient room for the foot to move and expand naturally.
Foot Climate
GORE-TEX
The lining features GORE-TEX Most Breathable Footwear. The construction is waterproof and breathable and incorporates an abrasion-resistant lining fabric. Particularly when frequently moving between indoor and outdoor environments, the material helps maintain a balanced foot climate. Its high level of breathability also makes the boot suitable for use in warmer temperatures.
Footbed
The comfortable footbed performs several functions at once. It provides cushioning, transports moisture away from the foot and supports controlled foot guidance. A separate heel cup improves cushioning in the rear foot area. Integrated AIRFLOW channels with recycled PU foam additionally support air circulation inside the boot.
HAIX Climate System
For moisture management, the HAIX Climate System uses the natural pumping motion generated while walking. Moisture is transported to the outside through the Micro-Dry lining at the top of the shaft. The system works with the natural movement of the foot to continuously support a comfortable climate inside the boot.
XLR8 Technologies
The XLR8 technologies of the Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid are designed to enhance performance, control and endurance. Several construction elements work together to guide the foot during movement, absorb impact forces and support the natural rolling motion of the foot.
Reforce
Reforce technology generates a targeted rotational movement of the heel bone, helping to support the alignment of the foot arch. Together with the adaptive heel counter, it is designed to provide controlled guidance of the boot through the heel.
Balanced Energy Return
During heel strike, the sole construction absorbs part of the generated energy. This energy is stored and then released again during push-off. The result is a responsive, spring-like walking feel that reinforces the athletic character of the Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid and contributes to comfort, particularly during workdays involving extensive movement.
Sole Construction
Insole Board
A moisture-absorbing nonwoven insole board is integrated into the construction. It complements the moisture-wicking footbed and helps support moisture management inside the boot.
Rubber/PU Outsole
The outsole features a robust rubber/PU construction. It is fuel-resistant, heat- and cold-insulating, and non-marking. The tread design and specially formulated rubber provide very good slip resistance across different types of terrain.
An elastic PU midsole keeps the construction lightweight while also providing additional cushioning. The PU is raised in the heel area to improve stability. It is also extended upward around the toe to provide additional protection.
HAIX Anti Slip
HAIX Anti Slip combines the outsole tread design with a specially developed rubber compound. This provides excellent grip on different surfaces. Particularly when frequently moving across changing ground conditions, the construction supports controlled and secure movement.
HAIX Absorption
For additional cushioning, a cushioning wedge is integrated directly into the sole construction. The HAIX Absorption System helps reduce impact forces during heel strike and complements the cushioning properties of the midsole and footbed.
HAIX CO-System
The HAIX CO-System combines several ergonomic functions within the sole construction. These include pressure relief and cushioning as well as support for foot positioning, body alignment and muscular balance. The system therefore complements the overall construction designed for controlled foot guidance.
HAIX Arch Support System
The HAIX Arch Support System supports the natural arch of the midfoot. At the same time, the toes and ball of the foot are given sufficient room. This anatomically designed construction combines stabilising midfoot guidance with ample freedom of movement in the forefoot area.
HAIX Smart Lacing
The HAIX Smart Lacing System allows the boot to be adjusted smoothly and with minimal pressure to the shape of the foot. The quick-release system enables fast adjustment of the lacing. The laces can then be stored securely in the integrated lace pocket. The closed lacing system keeps the construction tidy and prevents loose laces from hanging freely.
The HAIX Black Eagle EVO Athletic V GTX Mid is designed for professional users who require a lightweight, weatherproof and supportive occupational boot with an athletic walking feel. Its combination of numerous technical features covers a broad range of professional requirements.
Vario Wide Fit System is supplied with a red sole only. The two additional insoles must be purchased separately.
