G-LOFT Expedition Sleeping Bag for Winter Operations
This model is the Carinthia G 350X in size L (230 x 92 x 56 cm) with a right-hand zipper. The sleeping bag is also available in additional sizes and with different zipper configurations. An overview of the available G 350X variants can be found further below.

The Carinthia G 350X was developed for demanding expeditions, winter outdoor activities, and use by professional emergency organizations. With a comfort temperature of -13°C, the sleeping bag provides high thermal performance for extended stays in cold environments and challenging weather conditions.
With a weight of 1970 g and a compressed pack size of 24 x 31 cm, the G 350X combines high thermal performance with good packability for multi-day tours, expeditions, and extended stays in the field.
G-LOFT Insulation with High Moisture Resistance
For insulation, Carinthia uses its proven G-LOFT insulation made from 100% polyester. The synthetic fill provides reliable thermal performance and retains its functionality even in high humidity or wet conditions.
This makes the G 350X particularly suitable for cold and damp operating environments where consistently reliable insulation is required.
Water-Repellent Shelltex Ultra Construction
The water-repellent Shelltex Ultra outer material, made from 100% polyamide, protects the insulation from moisture and supports thermal performance in changing weather conditions. The durable outer construction was designed for demanding environments where equipment is continuously exposed to cold and moisture.
The inner material is also made from 100% polyamide and complements the sleeping bag’s durable overall construction.
Virtually Seamless Construction Against Cold Spots
The virtually seamless construction reduces potential cold spots within the sleeping bag and supports even insulation distribution. This allows existing warmth to be stored efficiently while minimizing heat loss through critical areas.

Care Instructions for G-LOFT Sleeping Bags
G-LOFT sleeping bags are machine washable (gentle cycle, max. 30°C) and suitable for tumble drying at low temperature. Before washing, close all fasteners, loosen drawcords and turn the sleeping bag inside out. A washing machine with a minimum capacity of 7 kg is required. The gentlest cleaning method remains hand washing in warm water using detergent for synthetic fibers. After washing, rinse several times to remove any detergent residues.
Spin at a maximum of 500 rpm, then air dry – avoid direct sunlight. Machine drying is possible at very low heat on the most gentle setting. Shake the sleeping bag occasionally during drying; for heavy sleeping bags over 2 kg, the use of an industrial dryer is recommended.
Proper Storage for G-LOFT Sleeping Bags
G-LOFT sleeping bags should always be stored uncompressed in order to maintain the insulation performance of the filling. Ideally, store the sleeping bag hanging, laid out flat or with zippers open in a large mesh bag in a dry, well-ventilated area. The insulation requires sufficient space to expand and recover. The compression sack should only be used for transport – do not roll the sleeping bag, but instead stuff it loosely into the sack from the foot end with the zipper open, as repeated rolling stresses the filling in the same areas and may damage the construction.
