For 2023, Arc’teryx has introduced the proven Atom Jacket LT in its Generation 2.1. Designed as a midlayer, this jacket integrates easily into existing clothing systems. The combination of different textiles ensures an excellent distribution of warmth and breathability. This makes the lightweight cold-weather protection jacket a powerful companion for sporting activities in cold and damp weather conditions.
Highly Functional Materials for Supreme Comfort
To guarantee optimal comfort during operations in cold and wet conditions, Arc’teryx has used various highly functional materials in the Atom Jacket. The liner, made from LI PENG High Air Perm Nylon Ripstop, has got strong permeability to warm and moist air. The jacket is filled with CLIMASHIELD's impregnated Combat Fibrefill, a synthetic fiber that allows air to pass through while retaining warmth even in wet conditions. For protection against temporary showers, the majority of the outer material consists of water-repellent TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip Lightweight fabric. The jacket's functionality is further enhanced by the sides made of POLARTEC Power Stretch Hardface Fleece, which provides elasticity and increased ventilation for this lightweight cold-weather protection jacket.
Versatile Outdoor Jacket with Thoughtful Details
The collar can be fully closed with a zipper, and the No Slip Zip prevents unintentional opening during movement. The full-length two-part zipper cover prevents cold spots and works as a chin guard. The sleeves feature comfortable elastic cuffs to prevent cold air from entering. The two front zip pockets offer space to warm hands and can also accommodate communication devices thanks to the cable openings. For secure cable management, elastic loops are sewn into the jacket on both sides at chest height and inside the collar. The chest pocket on the left side is ideal for storing essential gear, as it remains easily accessible even when wearing the jacket under other layers of clothing. The jacket's hem is adjustable on both sides with elastic drawcords and cord stoppers.
