  Touring Backpack for Young Trekking Enthusiasts

  The Tatonka Akela 35 is a fully featured trekking backpack designed specifically for younger users with a fit adapted to lighter and smaller body frames. Whether for a trekking tour, Scout camp or a bushcraft weekend, the backpack combines a durable construction with functional features for multi-day outdoor adventures.

  The specially adapted carrying system promotes balanced load transfer and ensures a secure fit even over longer distances. The division into a main compartment and bottom compartment also helps keep clothing, equipment and a sleeping system well organized.

  Adjustable carrying system for young trekkers

  The V Comfort Vario Carrying System can be adjusted to different back lengths. This allows the hip belt to be positioned correctly so that the load is transferred efficiently to the hips.

  Load control straps, a height-adjustable sternum strap and the padded hip belt allow the backpack to be adjusted to different body shapes and load configurations. This keeps the backpack comfortable to carry, even on longer tours.

  Well-organized storage for touring equipment

  The fully opening main compartment makes packing easier and provides quick access to your equipment. The separate bottom compartment is ideal for storing a sleeping bag or separating dirty clothing from the rest of your gear.

  Zippered side pockets, open stash sleeves behind the side pockets and gear attachment loops on the lid, front and sides provide additional options for attaching equipment to the outside of the backpack. The wrap-around bottom compression helps keep the load compact.

  Durable materials for outdoor use

  The Akela 35 combines two durable polyamide fabrics developed for use in trekking backpacks. The lightweight T-Snow Crust fabric is complemented by 420 HD Nylon FD in areas exposed to higher wear.

  Both materials feature an internal PU coating and a PFC-/PFAS-free water-repellent finish. This makes the backpack suitable for regular outdoor use in changing weather conditions.

  Thoughtful features for trekking tours

  The backpack includes attachment points for trekking poles or ice axes, hydration system compatibility and multiple gear attachment loops. This allows additional equipment to be securely carried on the outside of the pack.

  Whether for a trekking tour, Scout camp or a bushcraft weekend, the Akela 35 provides a functional platform for carrying personal equipment. The combination of durable materials, an adjustable carrying system and well-organized storage makes it a reliable companion for those taking their first steps into more demanding outdoor activities.
