Proven comfort and full modularity
Do you have lots of individual pouches and great backpacks, but when it comes down to it, there's always one option missing? Those days are over! For the 2021 season, Tasmanian Tiger has presented a backpack so modular and individually combinable that even the toughest of you hardliners will be drooling with delight: Voilà, the TT Modular Gunners Pack
What’s special about the piece is obvious and quickly explained: The tactical backpack consists of a base with a carrying system that is supplemented by various smaller pouches
. Those are themselves combinable and interchangeable - the backpack offers possibilities upon possibilities.
Easy handling and light weight were of course taken into account though: The Gunners Pack, with an overall dimension of 43 x 26 x 5 cm and a total volume of 4 litres
, weighs in at a mere 1000 g - if you take off the straps, it's only 735 g. The smart choice of materials is the reason for the light and compact appearance: The lightweight T-Square Rip FD nylon
is as light as it is tactically proven. It is water-repellent and robust, so its light appearance should not deceive anyone about its uncompromising tactical nature!
By the way, another practical feature is that a bungee cord compression
can reduce the size of the backpack when it is not fully packed and not all modules are needed. But let’s chat about the individual elements that make this backpack such a gem for any mission!
Five main modules for the win: One main compartment complemented by four front pouches
The main compartment is a completely flat bag
that can be opened all the way round. It naturally forms the back part of the backpack and is, accordingly, flat in design. It can hold a volume of 9 litres and already has an hydration system integrated
. What is particularly interesting here, however, is that it can be combined with a plate carrier: via a simple M.O.L.L.E. reverse system, the back section of the Gunners Pack can be threaded together with the TT Plate Carrier QR LC
. Of course, an adapter can also be used for attachment, so all other plate carriers can then be connected as well.
Attached to the top of this multifunctional main compartment are four smaller pouches
. The oblong pouch at the bottom holds 1 litre and is the right size for the TT Tac Pouch 12 or the TT 2 SGL Backup Mag Pouch M4. On this lower pocket, you’ll detect a loop panel for a name tag or ID patches. The two side-by-side pouches attached in the middle each hold one litre
and are easily attached to a M.O.L.L.E. surface
. Thus, replacing them is as easy as it gets.
The upper pouch
has the largest extra volume of 2 litres, but can also be folded down again. The purpose of this feature is that a magazine holder
can be attached behind it. The magazine holder is included; it is suitable for three M4 magazines or 4 pistol/ MP7 magazines.
As an extra feature, the upper bag was equipped with the Laser Cut version of the M.O.L.L.E.
system. This means it can hold even more equipment and pouches without losing its low profile.
The lightweight Modular Gunners Pack will be one of the favourites of the new season, that's for sure. With its numerous options, the backpack is so versatile that it has become a real sport in our team to find the best packing options. Have fun packing!
