  Wolfhound Jacket for demanding operational conditions

  The Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Jacket with hood is purpose-built for use in harsh environments. It combines low weight with reliable protection and can be used both as a standalone outer layer and as an insulating layer under a hardshell. Designed for long marches, variable weather conditions, and intensive use, it remains comfortable and fully functional even under sustained stress.

  Lightweight, compact, and ready for deployment

  With a total weight of just 403 grams, the jacket is among the lighter insulation solutions available. It can be packed down compactly, making it ideal for operations where weight and pack size are critical factors.

  An integrated loop panel on the chest allows for the attachment of patches or identification, enabling individual customization.

  Climashield Apex – reliable insulation even when wet

  The integrated Climashield Apex insulation, made from 100% polyester with a weight of 67 g/m², provides efficient heat retention. Even in damp conditions, the material maintains its insulating performance and dries quickly.

  This makes the jacket particularly suitable for changing weather conditions and high levels of activity. At the same time, the insulation remains lightweight, ensuring an optimal balance between thermal performance and packability.

  WindPack Nylon – durable outer construction

  The outer material is made of 100% WindPack nylon, specifically designed for low weight and high durability. It offers reliable protection against wind and light precipitation while maintaining strong resistance to abrasion.

  Its breathable structure helps regulate body temperature during physical activity. The material reduces heat loss from wind exposure without restricting necessary airflow.

  Enhanced mobility with VersaStretch

  VersaStretch inserts are integrated in the underarm areas to improve flexibility. The elastic material supports natural movement and minimizes restriction during dynamic activities.

  These inserts also enhance ventilation in high-stress zones, contributing to overall comfort during extended use or intense activity.

  Functional hood for extended weather protection

  The adjustable hood features a soft visor, providing effective protection against wind and precipitation. It can be precisely adjusted and remains stable even during movement.

  The design ensures an unobstructed field of vision and does not limit mobility, which is essential for tactical or alpine applications.

  Practical storage and durable components

  The jacket includes four zippered pockets, with three external pockets for quick access and one internal pocket for sensitive or essential gear. This setup enables structured and secure storage.

  Geniale Übergangs-/milde Winterjacke! Mit geringem Gewicht und hohem Tragekomfort einfach genial für die kälteren Tage. Der Stoff reflektiert die eigene Körperwärme und sorgt direkt für ein mollig-warmes Gefühl ohne Hitze. Die Jacke hält leichten Regen ab, irgendwann zieht es jedoch durch die Nähte ein. Die Jacke lässt sich super zusammenstopfen und entfaltet sich auch eigenständig nach etwas Zeit wieder, sodass man nicht ewig im knittrigen Look rumläuft. Show more Show less
