With its low-profile, unobtrusive design, the Wolfhound Hoodie really is anything but tactical. With four practical zipped pockets, everyday odds and ends can fit in quickly: one chest and two side pockets on the outside and a slip pocket on the inside have plenty of room for everyday EDC.
The profiled and adjustable hood zips up to the chin with the jacket's long zip, and is almost set up for all-round wind and weather protection with a soft peak.Softshell with Climashield insulation
However, it's the clever combination of materials that makes the Wolfhound Hoodie such a versatile all-weather companion that is responsible for the actual wind and weather protection:
The low weight and good thermal performance of the hooded jacket is thanks to the Climashield Apex padding (67 g/m2), which provides ideal insulation while keeping the pack size small. An outer layer of WindPack nylon adds to the latter and defies wind and weather. The sealed cuffs, hood and lower waistband of the jacket have an elastic binding, and don`t let cold air enter. In order to expand freedom of movement, a VersaStretch fabric has also been worked under the arms, which makes it easier to combine with a backpack and ensures more mobility on hikes or runs.
