  The HAIX Scout has proven itself as a reliable boot for outdoor and tactical use. With the Scout 2.0, a worthy successor with solid performance for long hikes, challenging bushcraft activities, and professional use is introduced.

  Structure

  The Scout 2.0 features a 17 cm high shaft that securely supports and stabilizes the foot. Its two-zone lacing system allows for individual adjustment, ensuring an optimal fit with every movement. The robust lace hooks offer durability and security, providing effective support in rugged terrain.

  Material

  The upper material of the Scout 2.0 is made of high-quality nubuck leather, known for its tear resistance and durability. The shoe offers a good balance between flexibility, protection, and breathability. Additional textile and plastic reinforcements provide excellent weather resistance.

  Sole Construction

  The Scout 2.0 utilizes an advanced sole construction that proves robust and reliable in everyday use. The balance between flexibility and stability is excellent, with materials and technologies that offer good comfort and safety.

  Outsole

  The Vibram outsole of the Scout 2.0 provides solid slip resistance, offering reliable grip on various surfaces. The tread design with anti-slip function meets the highest requirements for stability and safety on slippery or oily surfaces. Additionally, the sole is certified according to the requirements of EN ISO 20347:2012 as a safety shoe.
  

  Midsole

  The polyurethane foam midsole in the Scout 2.0 offers good shock-absorbing properties and optimal cushioning. This is made possible by the integrated cushioning wedge and the direct connection to the upper material, which ensures improved lateral stability and support in the Scout 2.0.
  

  Insole

  The ergonomically shaped insole supports the natural foot profile and promotes a healthy foot posture. Made of breathable materials, it allows effective moisture wicking and provides a pleasant foot climate. The insole is removable for orthopedic inserts.
  

  Inner Lining

  GORE-TEX

  The GORE-TEX membrane stands for outstanding waterproofing and breathability. This property keeps the feet dry and comfortable, regardless of external conditions.
  

  Climate System

  The HAIX Climate System utilizes the pumping motion generated while walking to channel moisture through the micro-dry lining on the boot's shaft to the outside. This regulates and improves foot climate over extended periods of wear by ensuring adequate airflow inside the shoe.
