  The black GoRuck GR1 21L backpack is based on GORUCK´s original model and embodies the spirit of the Rucker movement like no other backpack. Rucking, in simple terms, is doing activities with a weighted backpack that would be much easier without the extra pounds. But that's what it's all about: leaving your comfort zone, pushing your mind and body to new limits. The GORUCK GR1 21 provide the perfect base for this.
  
  

  Lifestyle backpack with military roots

  
  The low-profile backpack impresses with perfect workmanship in combination with robust materials such as 1000D Cordura. Thanks to a heavily padded carrying system and supple back padding the GR1 is comfortable to carry even over extended periods and when fully loaded. The padded top carry handle is sized to safely transport the GoRuck GR1. The attention to detail and the lack of compromise in terms of materials and workmanship indicate that GORUCK founders Emily and Jason McCarthy know what it comes down to when equipment must be 100% reliable even under the most adverse conditions and at the same time be hardly noticeable in everyday life. Before founding GORUCK, the two worked for the CIA and in Special Forces, respectively, and fully apply their philosophy that failure is not an option to their heart's project, GORUCK.
  
  

  Rugged and versatile

  
  With its 21 liters capacity the black GR1 is a perfect daypack and EDC backpack. The design is deliberately kept plain and does completely without flashy design elements. Not even the GORUCK logo decorates the inconspicuous exterior. This makes the GORUCK GR1 equally suitable for hard rucking sessions in any weather in any terrain, as well as an everyday backpack for university and office. The notebook compartment offers your portable computer up to 16" a lot of security due to the robust padding, a frame sheet made of durable plastic and a false bottom. In addition, the compartment is only accessible when the backpack is not on your back. This makes unwanted access to the valuable contents much more difficult and makes it almost impossible for thieves to get to the notebook unnoticed. Instead of the notebook, a hydration bladder can also be fixed in the compartment.
  
  

  Simple outside, functional inside

  
  The virtually indestructible, rainproof exterior of the GR1 offer a patch area, a zipper pocket for small parts that you might want to get to quickly and three rows M.O.L.L.E. on the front and sides to optimize the backpack to the respective use. The Reflective Ruck Bands, which are also available from GoRuck, can also be perfectly looped into the M.O.L.L.E for additional visibility. The interior of the GR1 is functional and uncluttered. The main compartment opens completely, making packing easy. On the inside of the lid are a closed pocket and a large mesh pocket, both zippered respectively. Towards the back, an elastic insert allows the GR1 to be loaded with GORUCK weight plates, e.g.. Above this, as on the outside, are three rows of M.O.L.L.E. for individual configuration. No matter what you're up to, the GORUCK GR1 is by your side as a durable, versatile backpack that won't let you down.
