Summer sleeping bag in 200cm length
Just right for the start of summer bushcraft tours and the tropical temperatures at home or on overseas missions, the Tropen Sleeping Bag in Woodland brings the 4-color contrasts of the camo classic to your gear pack. With small pack size, light weight and good temperature and moisture management, the summer sleeping bag shows how smart insulation works.
Shelltrans and G-Loft
While the classic G-Loft insulation of the sleeping bag provides the necessary warmth, the addition of Thermoflect provides additional heat management: Thermoflect is an exceptionally lightweight cotton fiber that reflects the heat radiation emitted by the body and thus provides improved heat retention.
The outer layer is made of high-performance Shelltrans, which has a special vapor permeability.
Single-layer construction
The material of the insulating layer and outer layer in this lightweight summer sleeping bag is a single-layer construction. This means that the outer shell is loosely attached to the inner sleeping bag. This gives the G-Loft fiber the space it needs to fully develop. In addition, the outer shell thus provides an extra layer of insulation that can be used during foggy nights or an unexpected temperature drop.
If it becomes too warm in the sleeping bag, the ventilation can be quickly regulated: The divisible 2-way zipper is used for micro-climate management, as the lower part of the 2-way zipper can be quickly opened to provide more air. A pinch protection tape ensures the zipper opens & closes without jamming.
Combination to 4-season sleeping bag
The Tropical sleeping bag can be used in combination with the legendary Carinthia Defence 4 mummy sleeping bag. Simply combining the two sleeping bags creates a superior 4-season sleeping system that provides warm, well protected nights down to well below -15, even in the most adverse conditions.
Mosquito Net
The hotter and the more tropical the climate, the more uninvited the guests. To make you forget about the obligatory buzzing of mosquitoes and to ensure protection from unnecessary bites and stings, a functional mosquito net is attached to the head end.
With the included stuff sack, the Tropical Sleeping Bag is transported compactly and safely. The G-Loft synthetic fiber unfolds as usual even after the umpteenth compression still unrestricted.
Carinthia Camo-Matrix
Woodland is the highlight of the so-called Camo Matrix from Carinthia, with which the application possibilities of the products have been expanded for a wide range of applications. The absolutely timeless camo classic M81 Woodland is not only the mother of all camos and as a vintage borrowing a real style classic. It also concludes the expansion of the requirement profiles and places of use of equipment and clothing with its usual high-contrast 4-color pattern.
Within the camo matrix, previously unavailable, field-tested and proven camo variants have been exclusively matched to the most common operational regions in the European area, enabling an optimal camouflage effect at any time of year and in any operational area.
From Multicam and its sub-variants Multicam Alpine and Multicam Black to the Bundeswehr's 5-color Flecktarn, most Carinthia products are now available.
