  Ultralight Softshell Anorak for Dynamic Operational Environments

  The Arc'teryx Gamma SL Anorak is designed as a lightweight, mobility-focused softshell layer for operational profiles involving high levels of physical activity. The breathable fabric provides excellent freedom of movement and protection against light wind, rain or snow.

  Weighing just 260 g, the anorak can be used flexibly within a multi-layer clothing system. It performs equally well as a lightweight outer layer or as a midlayer beneath additional protective clothing, while its low weight makes it particularly suitable for extended movements and operational profiles.
  

  Abrasion-resistant softshell fabric for high-intensity movement

  The four-way stretch fabric combines high abrasion resistance with the elasticity required for physically demanding activities. The material supports unrestricted movement in dynamic operational situations.

  The high breathability supports moisture management during physical exertion. A DWR treatment reliably sheds light rain and snow, making the anorak suitable for changing weather conditions.

  Low-profile cut for layering and plate carriers

  The close-fitting, mobility-oriented cut eliminates excess material and keeps bulk to a minimum beneath additional clothing layers. This allows the Gamma SL to be integrated as a midlayer into multi-layer clothing systems and worn beneath a plate carrier without adding unnecessary bulk.

  The half-length front zipper is also designed for use with a plate carrier and reduces potential pressure points at the front. During high-intensity activity, the zipper can be opened for rapid ventilation, allowing immediate adjustment of body temperature.
  

  Operationally focused details with a streamlined construction

  The adjustable low-profile hood provides additional protection in changing weather while remaining compact enough not to unnecessarily interfere with other equipment. The adjustable drawcord hem allows the lower opening to be individually adjusted and reduces the ingress of drafts.

  Small items of equipment that need to remain immediately accessible can be secured in the left chest pocket with zipper. For operational identification, the anorak features IFF patch panels on both upper arms with V-Lite-compatible attachment loops for corresponding identification elements.

  For changing weather and operational conditions

  Thanks to its low weight, high mobility and functional weather protection, the Gamma SL Anorak is suitable for tactical operations, bushcraft, trekking and emergency preparedness.

  Its compatibility with plate carriers and multi-layer clothing systems allows the anorak to be worn as a lightweight outer layer or as a midlayer depending on weather conditions and the operational profile. This allows the clothing system to remain adaptable to different activity levels and changing environmental conditions.
