  Setting the bar for comfort and fit

  
  Designed as a balaclava for professional use, the flame-retardant Assault Balaclava FR Gen 2 impresses with optimum functionality in missions that require extreme physical exertion and have very low error tolerances. The lightweight fabric made of breathable mesh and the optimized cut provide an even better fit in the forehead area and, in combination with very flat seams, ensure that the Balaclava can be worn comfortably in conjunction with a helmet, eye protection, hearing protection and/or oxygen mask. Arcteryx has designed its high-end Balaclava to leave either just the eyes exposed or the entire face. Depending on the setup and mission objective, this allows ventilation to be adjusted to the wearer's needs and counteracts fogging of goggles or glasses.
  
  

  Revised neck section

  
  To ensure that the Assault Balaclava FR Gen 2 stays in place even in highly dynamic situations and forms a clean transition to the rest of the outerwear, the cut of the neck section has been revised. In the process, the Arcteryx logo was moved from the temple to the collar area, which is not visible during use.
  
  When developing gear for the LEAF series, Arcteryx focuses on maximum functionality. This includes making the garment comfortable to wear over an extended period of time and providing the wearer with the best possible support in performing tasks on a professional day-to-day basis.
