  The only negative point was the delivery part. The delivery company got the address wrong somehow and I never got the package home. I had to pick it up at a store. They did not even have my phone number eventhough I think I had to submit it when ordering the product. I also checked that I had given the right address when ordering the product.

  With new features to the optimized Combat Shirt

  
  
  In 2021, Arc`teryx LEAF has introduced several updates to its classics, featuring detail improvements. The Assault Shirt AR Gen 2 in particular has changed in many ways, taking a leap forward in layout and functionality. A slimmer profile, modernized cut and a technically superior combination of materials make the longsleeve one of the top novelties.
  
  

  Modernized layout with zipper

  
  The change in layout from a collar with button and concealed zipper to an exposed ¼ zipper with stand-up collar is the most obvious change. The functional improvement is combined with a modernization of the design. With the more contemporary zipper, which thanks to Zipper Garage can’t open unintentionally, but which can be operated quite well with gloves, the dressing and undressing is facilitated, but above all the thermal regulation is improved. In the usual combination with a plate carrier, the flat zipper is also a simplification.
  
  LEAF has also said goodbye to the buttons on the cuffs and instead uses hook-and-loop closures to regulate the width and thus warmth.
  
  The upper arm pockets are low profile and feature uncovered zippers that are easily accessible even with the plate carrier. Generous hook-and-loop areas and V-Lite tie-down points made of nylon material are fitted here; making the old, faster-wearing plastic V-Lites an item of the past. The Combat Shirt's elbow pads are included and are exchangeable.
  
  

  Material updates for torso and sleeves

  
  As usual, the Combat Shirt is divided into two components according to its use: The torso is made of a cotton and nylon blend, which sets it up well for wearing with a plate carrier to regulate heat and moisture. The sleeves, in contrast, are made of a rugged No Melt / No Drip Cotton Ripstop material that can withstand even uncomfortable use. To ensure good moisture management, mesh inserts are used under the arms for adequate air circulation.
  
  All around rejuvenated and thereby improved in detail, the LEAF Assault Shirt AR Gen 2 is the idealized form of the proven Combat Shirt of the Canadians.
