Mission Adaptable Cummerbund
Agilite Gear has taken user feedback to heart and tasked its development team with addressing common weaknesses in existing cummerbund systems. The result is the Agilite Gear Warfighter Cummerbund: a reinforced construction with interchangeable hook-and-loop closures that excels in compatibility, easy installation, and top-tier modularity. It’s designed for use with the Agilite Gear K-Zero or any suitable plate carrier with sufficient loop surfaces on the front and back panels.
Exceptional Integration
The cummerbund attaches effortlessly via hook-and-loop connectors, making it easy to swap out and finely adjust. The front hook-and-loop closure can be removed and replaced with compatible quick-release buckles. This allows users to upgrade to one- or two-sided quick-detach systems, such as 2M ROC buckles or FirstSpear Tubes, for faster donning and doffing.
Reinforced Composite Material
Reinforcement is provided by CURV, a self-reinforced thermoplastic composite known for its lightweight, ease of processing, and high stiffness. This ensures the cummerbund maintains a stable form even when equipped with side ballistics or heavy-duty gear. For added agility, a stretch material is integrated into the rear hook-and-loop closure, enhancing comfort and mobility.
Modular Usability
PALS loops made from laser-cut Squadron laminate allow for simultaneous attachment of pouches on both the inside and outside of the cummerbund. For example, separately available pouches for hard or soft ballistic plates can be mounted on the inside, while the exterior remains free for magazine pouches and other gear.
Skeletonized Design
The breathable construction not only fits seamlessly with modern gear but also prevents heat buildup and allows sweat to evaporate, enhancing overall comfort during extended use.
Available in Three Sizes
The cummerbund’s hook-and-loop system allows for fine-tuning to achieve the perfect fit. To maximize modularity, Agilite Gear offers it in three sizes, differentiated by the number of MOLLE loops. Sizes are based on torso circumference measured just above the navel:
- Size M: 76.2 to 101.5 cm
- Size L: 101.5 to 127 cm
- Size XL: 127 to 157.5 cm
For setups that include radios or side ballistic plates on the inside, it’s recommended to add approximately 10 cm to your measurement.
