The Lindnerhof-Taktik Plate Carrier Quick Releasable LT025 V/A2 is the reissue of the historic plate carrier, which has made a name for itself as an issued piece of equipment in the German military. Precisely crafted from high-quality materials, including Cordura in the original 5-color camouflage pattern of the Bundeswehr, this premium piece of equipment stands out for its modularity and quick-release feature.
Designed for Operational Use
Deeply rooted in the German special forces, Lindnerhof designed this plate carrier to meet their specific requirements, refining and modernizing it with each generation. For the base material, abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura was chosen, providing a balanced weight. Relevant areas of the system are strategically reinforced to ensure long durability. The body side uses a fine spacer fabric to prevent heat buildup. Additionally, two padding elements are included, which can be attached to the front or back to further personalize comfort and ventilation.
Ventilated Cummerbund with Hook and Loop
The cummerbund included in this set impresses with its skeleton design made of webbing, allowing for usable PALS loops on both sides while providing ventilation. This setup allows for magazine pouches or multi-purpose pouches to be mounted on the outside, while the inside can hold radios or pouches for side armor. The plate carrier is closed with hook and loop on the front, making it easy to adjust the fit quickly when putting it on. The general width adjustment is made at the back with the emergency drop system.
Quickly Dropped in an Emergency
A core feature of the plate carrier is its excellent emergency release system, which disconnects the shoulder straps and cummerbund from the back panel with a single motion, making it easy to use even during an unplanned emergency dive. For proper functionality, the plate carrier is assembled according to the manufacturer's assembly instructions. This results in complete removal by pulling on a loop attached to the shoulder strap and quick release of the cummerbund for simplified casualty care by pulling on a loop at the bottom edge of the back panel. The metal eyelets integrated into the cummerbund allow for individual width adjustment for an optimal fit when reassembling.
Separate Ballistic Pockets
Designed for use with hard and soft armor, the plate carrier is equipped with two separate compartments, each closed with hook and loop closure. The external plate pocket allows for optimal positioning of SK4 plates, while the slightly larger compartment towards the body accommodates the SK1 insert. This makes the carrier ideally suited for official gear, while ensuring comfort.
Modular System for Custom Adjustments
The key to the iconic vest's success is its easy upgradeability with additional elements. The large PALS loops on the front and back provide space for extensive setups, while the PALS cummerbund creates room on the sides. The removable front flap can easily be replaced with the Panel Front MX231 or the Panel Front Multikaliber 3er MX234, allowing the configuration to be quickly adapted to the mission at hand. The loop surface on the front allows for easy integration of the Multi Hanger Pouch MX174, radio pouches, IFAK, groin protection, or other commercially available Velcro modules. The skeletonized cummerbund can be replaced by the belly strap drop system LT210/II, which includes a compartment for side armor. The heavy-duty zippers on the back are compatible with Crye panels and ideal for adapting Lindnerhof-Taktik panels like the Panel Back Zippable LT632 or Panel Back Assault Zippable LT400/II. For added comfort during full load, the shoulder straps can be upgraded with the Shoulder Padding HL105, allowing for better focus on the essentials during long deployments and exercises.
Continuous Camouflage Effect
To seamlessly integrate into the official gear, the Cordura is in original Flecktarn and the PALS webbing straps are also with a camouflage pattern. This ensures both visual camouflage and camouflage in NIR is maintained.
